“Because I knowyou,Seb.”

Fear creeps up my spine. “Do you think Cade knows?”

He shakes his head. “No. I think you’re safe. So, how long?”

I blow out a breath. “A while, I guess. We got close. I knew she was still in love with Cade. I couldn’t stop myself falling for her, though.”

“Did anything ever—”

“No,” I say, cutting him off. “Never!”

“Why didn’t you say anything?”

I let out a sad laugh. “What would I say, Wyatt? I’m in love with my brother’s girlfriend? No one wants to hear that.”

“In love with her?” he asks, his tone not hiding his surprise. He clearly didn’t think my feelings were that intense.

I sigh. “Yes, but it doesn’t matter. She’s happy. That’s all I care about.” It’s a half-truth. I love her and I want her to be happy. I just wish more than anything that it was me making her happy.

“What about you?”

I frown. “What about me?”

“We’re a close family, Seb. You’re going to have to see them together all the time. You’re okay with that?”

It’s going to kill me to see them together. He doesn’t need to know that, though.

“What choice do I have? Cade’s my brother and I love him. I’m happy he’s happy. I’ll be fine.”

“That’s bullshit!”

“It is not! Iamhappy for him.”

“Maybe, but you’re not fine. You need to get laid, bro.”

I roll my eyes. “Yes, because that will solve everything.”

“Seriously. You need to put yourself out there. Move on. When was the last time you went on a date?”

I blow out a breath. “I can’t even remember.”

“You should come to Phoenix. I can hook you up. There are always women following the team around.”

“Thanks, but no, thanks. Even if I wanted to, I can’t leave the bar.”

“You’re allowed a life, Seb.”

“I have a life.”

He lets out a sarcastic laugh. “A life where you’re in love with your brother’s wife.”

“What?” a voice gasps from behind us. My stomach rolls and sweat breaks out on the back of my neck as I recognize the voice.

I take a deep breath before turning around in my seat. I groan internally when I see both NashandPaisley. I look between them, their expressions a mixture of horror and pity.

“Is there any chance you didn’t hear that?” I ask, rubbing my fingers into my temple to ward off the headache I know is coming.

“Fuck, Seb! How long have you felt like that? Does Cade know?” Nash asks, sitting down next to me and pulling Paisley onto his lap.
