“Hey. Good to finally meet you,” I tell her.

“You too, Taylor.”

“Paisley got you a drink,” Ashlyn says. “Come and sit down.”

Before I can, Wyatt stands and brushes a kiss on my cheek.

“Good to see you again, Taylor.”

“You too.”

I slide into the booth, smiling at everyone in turn. I pause when my eyes land on Sophie. She looks beautiful.

“How are you, Sophie? You look great.”

She smiles, her hand dropping to her swollen stomach that I can just see above the table.

“I’m good, thanks. Really good.”

Paisley told me how tough Sophie’s pregnancy had been at the beginning and how sick she was. I’m happy everything’s worked out for her and Cade.

I glance at Paisley, who’s looking past me. I follow her gaze to see she’s looking at Seb. Seb’s watching me, and he smiles when our eyes meet. I smile back.

“I need to get back to the bar. I’ll see you guys later. Have fun,” Seb says, raising his hand in a wave before disappearing into the crowd.

“Why was he looking at you like that?” Paisley whispers from the side of me.

“Like what?” I ask.

“Like he wants to rip your clothes off.”

I laugh. “How much have you had to drink?”

She narrows her eyes and holds my gaze. “You’re sleeping together again, aren’t you?”

“What are you two whispering about?” Ash asks, and I pick up the glass of wine Paisley has pushed in front of me, swallowing down a mouthful of the red liquid. I don’t like lying to Paisley, but I know she won’t understand what Seb and I have going on.

“Nothing. Paisley’s just seeing things.” I bump my shoulder with hers and she rolls her eyes. “What time is everyone getting to your parents’ place tomorrow?” I ask Ash.

“About midday, I think.”

“Do you need a ride? We can pick you up,” Nash asks.

“Seb has offered to swing by and pick me up, but thanks.”

He hasn’t, but I’m hoping he’ll want to stay at my place tonight and I can grab a ride with him tomorrow. I can feel Paisley’s eyes on me, but I don’t look at her. I can’t lie to her twice.

I look out into the crowd of people, noticing a guy who keeps looking over this way. I watch him for a little longer, his eyes flicking to Ashlyn. He looks older than her, but he’s hot, and I wonder if she knows him.

“Hey, Ash,” I wait until she looks over. “I think you might have an admirer.”

She frowns. “What? Who?”

“Yeah, who?” Nash asks.

I ignore Nash and gesture out onto the dance floor. “The guy in the blue shirt.” She follows my gaze, her eyes widening and her cheeks flushing pink. “You know him?” I ask.

“Yeah. I know him.”
