"How is it that I always seem to find the damn billionaires? Do you guys just run around in packs?"

Both Linc and I laugh at that. I never thought about it that way but I guess to her we do.

For the rest of the breakfast the three of us talk like we're old friends and now that Linc and I have certain things in common it opens up a new avenue for us.

Linc's phone buzzes and he looks down at it with a groan.

"What's the matter?" Ella asks.

"Bachelor party duties. I honestly can't wait to get off this ship. I love those guys but they're driving me up the wall." Linc complains.

"Yikes, that sucks." She tsks at him and takes the plates in front of us and walks it over to where the receptacle is.

"So where's the ring?" Linc asks me straight out.

"What?"

"Damn play stupid. If you don't marry that woman soon someone else will. She's fucking awesome. I'm telling you, snatch her up." Linc plasters a fake smile on his face before I can say anything else and Ella walks back up to the table.

"You boys ready to go?" She says with her hands on her hips. My eyes drift to her left hand and the thought of her having my ring on her finger excites me way more than it should. I want all of that with her.

"Yeah. It's time to make the moves I guess." Linc says and something tells me the comment is directed to me.

It's past time I made an honest woman out of Ella.

It's beena few days since we've been home off the ship and I'm happy that Ella seems to have jumped right back into my life as if she never left. She did though and I remember it vividly

I thought that I would give her a little bit more time to settle back into our life but I can't wait any longer. Today the press is going to come and do a little interview at the building itself about the article that Ella did. It's the first time I'm allowing it to happen so everyone who is anyone is going to be there. Even my father and my mother will show up. Ian is going to take a few hours away from the restaurant to be here as well.

It's a hectic thing opening up my life to the people that I know will try to do everything that they can to drag me through the mud. They will report on every part of my life whether it's private or not. There was a full paparazzi blitz the day the cruise ship docked at the final port. When I left the country everyone assumed that I'd given the company to Ian or was pushed out. Ridiculous. My poor brother couldn't leave the house until I got home they were so on top of him.

For what I have planned for today I'm glad it's no different. As I'm getting ready to go down stairs and meet with the media I hear a ruckus outside. The door to my office is pushed open and both Greg and Carrie come in.

"I need to talk to him." Carrie says out loud.

"I already told you he's busy!" Greg answers just as loudly.

"Really, cause it looks like he's just staring at us. God, do you pay him to be your bodyguard too?" Carrie leans over and talks to me.

"It's okay Greg, I invited her. I need to speak with her before we get to the press."

Carrie cuts me off and starts talking a million miles a minute. "Look, I wanted to get here before Ella did because I know she's going to try and take the fall for this when really it's not even her fault. I did this. I mean we did do it together but it was me that actually put it up. It was such a small thing that I forgot all about it but I checked it today and it's not such a small thing. I'm sorry I didn't mean to..."

"You're sorry for what?" Ella says as she walks into the office.

"Shoot, I thought I'd get here with enough time. Look, don't worry about it, okay. I'm going to take care of it. It's my fault."

"Hey!" I thunder trying to get both of their attention. I haven't been able to get a word in and I'm completely confused. "What the hell is going on?" I ask and Greg comes to stand near me. He's staring between the two women trying to decipher what is going on as well.

"Look, I know you think this is going to get you some points but you threw her out. She's going to have to do way more than this for you to dig your way out from underneath the dog house, Percival!" Carrie shakes her finger at me.

"Carrie what are you talking about?" Ella rushes over to her. Apparently Carrie is the only person in this room that knows what the problem is.

Carrie whispers something to Ella and I watch in amazement as her face goes from scrunched in confusion to pale to bright red in panic.
