"Okay. That's good. And Foster."

"Yes, Alice?"

"When I was on your lap…" My face went redder than a tomato.

"Yes," he said, a wide smile crossing his face.

"Did I..."

"Uh-huh."

"Did I play the cat and mouse game with you?" I said quickly, making something up.

I just couldn't ask him how far we'd gone. I wanted to know, but I just didn't want him to know that I remembered. I just wanted to move on past this absolutely horrific experience.

"The cat and mouse game?" He shook his head. "I'm sorry. I've never heard of that."

"You've never heard of the Tom and Jerry?" I said, pretending I was shocked, like the Tom and Jerry wasn't something I'd just made up five seconds previously.

"No, what is that?"

"It's like musical chairs, but you're on someone's lap, and you kind of..." I started giggling. "Oh well, I guess if you don't know what it is, we didn't play it."

"No, we didn't play it. But you did ask me to unzip your dress for you."

"I did?" I said loudly.

I wanted to bury my face in my hands. I couldn't believe we were about to have this conversation.

"Yeah, and I was a gentleman and did do it, and you..." He took out some bacon from the fridge. "You only had on your panties. You didn't have on a bra."

"Oh well, that's because the dress didn't allow me to wear a bra and..."

"I know," he said, "and you kind of gave me a little lap dance."

"Why are you telling me this, Foster?" I said, shaking my head and groaning. "Why?"

"Because I don't want you to have flashbacks later on and wonder why I never said anything."

"It's fine. I remember," I said, cringing. "We don't have to have this conversation."

"Oh, okay." He stared at me for a few seconds. "So you do remember what happened last night?"

"Yeah, I do. Most of it. I don't know how far we went. I know I kind of, well, pushed my chest in your face, and I don't know if..." I bit down on my lower lip, not knowing how to respond.

"You want to know if I sucked on your boobs?" he asked, grinning slightly.

I nodded.

"No, I didn't. I mean, it was tempting. Your nipples brushed against my lips several times, but I knew you were drunk, and I knew you were just having fun and joking around," he said quickly. "I don't know. Maybe you're planning on getting a job at a strip club so you could make loads of money and buy a penthouse in Trump Tower."

"Yeah, right," I said, rolling my eyes and giggling. "I do not have the moves to make that much money from being a stripper."

"You might not have the moves, but you’ve certainly got the body for it," he said with a wink.

"Foster," I said, blushing. I was happy but also embarrassed at his comments.

"Hey," he said, "don't worry. I won't tell anyone. I know you were drunk, and it was a long evening. We can just forget about it."
