"Covington," Foster said with a smile. "He's Travis Covington."

"Ah, okay." Molly nodded.

Foster looked over at me. "How are you feeling, Alice?"

"Excited." I grinned at him. "Really excited."

"Cool. Why are you so excited?" he said, his eyes roving over my body.

"I don't know. Just want to see where the night may lead." I winked at him, and he stared at me for a couple of seconds without saying anything.

"Come on. Let's get inside," Rosalie said. "I want to see what's up for auction. Perhaps Oliver and I will win something."

"I guess so," Oliver said with a slight drawl. "Let's not spend too much money tonight, though, Rosalie."

"What?" she said. "I'm not going to spend loads."

"Please don't."

"What's my maximum budget?"

He stared at her for a couple of seconds and chuckled. "There's no budget. You can bid what you want within reason."

"That's why I love you so," she said.

Foster stared at me and shook his head. "My sister's so spoiled."

"Just a little bit." I laughed. I stared at him. He looked absolutely gorgeous in his tuxedo. His golden-brown eyes seemed to shine in the light, and his dark-brown hair looked silky soft. I just wanted to rip off his clothes and kiss him all over. I wanted to feel his body next to mine, but now was not the time or the place.

When I'd walked out of the bedroom, and I felt his eyes on me, I felt like a million bucks. I felt like he was really into me. But as we'd driven over in the limo, he hadn't said a word to me. He hadn't even sat next to me. I was starting to wonder if I had imagined the way he'd been looking at me in the apartment.

"Come on, let's head inside," he said. "I really hope Travis is not upset that we're late."

We all followed him. As soon as we entered the large room, a tall, handsome man with black hair and vibrant blue eyes walked over to us. "Foster, there you are," he said in a deep drawl.

Molly whispered under her breath, "Holy shit, he's hot."

"Yeah," I said, nodding.

Rosalie was grinning and nodding too, but then she looked over at Oliver, who was staring at her, and she shook her head. "Not half as handsome as you, though, honey."

"Uh-huh," he said.

"Travis, I'd like to introduce you to my friends and family. This here is my sister, Rosalie."

"Hi. Nice to meet you." Rosalie held out her hand and shook his hand.

"The pleasure is all mine," he said in response.

"This is her fiancé and my best friend, Oliver."

"Good to see you again, Oliver."

"You too, Travis." Oliver nodded.

Then Foster turned to me. "This is Alice. She's Rosalie's best friend."

"Nice to meet you, Alice. You're quite a beauty."
