He rested his forehead against hers and gazed into her eyes.

“The happiness you deserve,” he breathed.

Their lips met, and Jackson pulled her into a tighter embrace, his hands running down the length of her back, their passions aroused. He pulled at her dress, exposing her shoulders, as her hands went to his breeches and pulled back the notches on his belt.

“And I want to show you,” she said, pulling now at his shirt, tearing at the buttons in a fit of frenzied passion.

Her breasts were exposed, and Jackson’s lips traced a trail down her neck, his hands searching her out. It was a frenzy of passion, the consummation of all they had shared and declared. This was the love no words could explain but only deeds show, as they held one another, their bodies becoming one. He was stiff against her, his breath erratic, his lips caressing her body. She ran her hands up the length of his back and fondled his hair, lying back on the bed as his tongue searched her out. She gasped at the sensation, the pleasure of his touch rushing through her.

“Like this?” he murmured, looking up at her mischievously.

“Just like that,” she moaned, and she let out a cry as he brought her to new heights of ecstasy, his fingers seeking out her pleasure as she held his head in place and willed him on.

At length, he brought himself up, arching over her and pressing his lips against hers. Eloise ran her fingers along his chest, taking his length in her hand, fondling him.

“And that,” he gasped, allowing her to pleasure him before he brought himself to bear on her, bringing her hands to his back and running them down its length.

His rhythm now took pace, and Eloise bucked her hips, raising her arms over her head as he made love to her. There was no rush in their pleasure, no danger of discovery, no anxious fear of scandal. They were married, they were in love, and this was the consummation.

“I love you,” she whispered, as he kissed her once again.

“I love you, too,” he panted, breathless at the exertion of the act, which was now reaching its climax.

Eloise could feel the heat rising in her loins, set to be overwhelmed by the ecstasy soon to be hers. Jackson, too, was close. She could see it on his face. And with a sudden cry, he burst forth, flooding her with his seed and letting out a cry, as Eloise, too, gave vent to her pleasure. They fell back together on the bed breathless and laughing, as the pleasure of the act subsided, and their lips pressed together.

“The pleasure of the wedding night.” He rolled onto his back to catch his breath.

“It was wonderful,” she exclaimed, propping herself up on her elbow and turning to him.

He ran his hands down her thigh, and she shivered with delight at his touch. He smiled at her and brought his lips to hers.

“The whole day was wonderful. I never thought… I never thought I could ever feel this way about someone. I didn’t think it was possible. You hear others say it, but you don’t quite believe it. About falling in love, I mean. It always sounds too good to be true. But it isn’t, is it? It’s real.” He took Eloise’s hand in his.

“It’s certainly real. I can’t think of anything else more real than the feelings I have for you. It was all supposed to be a ruse, but there’s no ruse, is there? Just two hearts entwined, and the truth of what really matters,” she said, kissing him again.

“The first night of the rest of our lives. I never thought we’d make it. There were times I doubted we would,” he admitted, and Eloise nodded.

“I almost gave up hope, too. Hope of finding Alice, hope of escaping that wicked man. But I never gave up hope in you,” she whispered, and Jackson smiled.

“And I never gave up hope in you either, Eloise. I knew we’d be together. I don’t know how, but I did. From that first moment I laid eyes on you, I loved you, and I knew it was meant to be. You’ve made me the happiest man in the world.”

Eloise blushed. She felt precisely the same. He was everything to her, and she knew she was everything to him, too.

“I love you,” she said, as they pulled the blankets over them and he put his arms around her.

“And I love you, too, Eloise. That’s the truth, and it always will be,” he vowed.

The End?
