“If you try to fuck me over Kayla, I’ll kill you.”
“I know, get on the plane Callie. There is a lot you have to learn about what is happening out here.” I end the call; I’ve already checked my bag in, so I make my way through security and head for my gate. I find my seat on the plane 38C, I smile, window seat yes!
I place my phone on flight mode and then shove it in my purse as I push it under the seat in front of me. I close my eyes and rest my head against the window hoping that they will hurry up. I feel someone drop down next to me but don’t open my eyes, I take a deep breath trying to relax and then freeze. I slowly peel my eyes open and turn to the side.
“Surprise.”
“What the fuck are you doing here?” I whisper shout, Hunter narrows his gaze at me and leans forward so we are nearly nose to nose.
“Cassius is tied up but will meet us there as soon as he can, until then you’re stuck with me.”
“I don’t want you here!”
“Too bad, you’re his mate Callie, he isn’t just going to let you go.” The harsh tone of his voice and the hard set of his eyes tells me he isn’t going to budge.
“I am not––.”
“Keep running babe, he’s a predator and the beast in him loves the chase.”
I am going to kill Cassius Wilder even if it is the last thing I do!
