“We still have to sit with my mother and brother for lunch,” he smirked as he handed me a small pile of wet paper towels.

“I'm not sure I can handle that,” I admitted, groaning as I attempted to clean myself.

“Don't tempt me to fuck with you under the table,” he grinned evilly as he adjusted himself then checked his clothes in the mirror. “Then you will know what it means to not be able to handle something.”

He straightened his tie, winking as I watched his reflection. We both gave each other one last glance of approval before he took my hand. He unlocked the door and we exited into the empty hallway. My eyes widened and I froze, crossing my legs awkwardly, silently begging him for help.

“What's wrong?” He peered down at me, cocking his head.

I immediately panicked. “Oh no,” I hissed, “Valentino, it's running down my thigh.”

He snorted, placing his lips on mine, whispering, “You'll be okay.”

“I need my panties!” I insisted under my breath.

“They'll do you no good now,” he smirked, grabbing my hand, pulling me back to the table where we finished lunch with his mother and brother. The entire time I kept my legs tightly crossed, praying that when I stood, I would be able to make it to the car without incident.

“Do we have everything?” I snorted, sarcastically commenting as I glanced at Joseph who was surrounded by a large pile of luggage.

“I certainly hope so, boss.”

“Isabelle!” I called out in the large open foyer.

Her head popped over the railing as she peered down. “Just a second,” she called out, “I have to do one more thing.”

I checked my watch then glanced back at her, but she had already disappeared. “Hurry!” I yelled hoping she would hear me.

It had been almost four weeks since the last time we saw anyone in my family, and it was time to fly to Austria for the holidays. The front door opened, and William and Tanya came stumbling in mid-kiss. I glared toward them, clearing my throat. They reluctantly peeled apart as he removed Tanya's coat, exposing her small baby bump. She quickly adjusted her sweater.

“Nooo nooo,” I pointed at them. “Put her coat back on,” I snapped. “We are running behind, and I will not reschedule our departure.”

Helen, our housekeeper, emerged from the elevator with Isabelle, giving her a hug. Isabelle turned to her, thanking her, and then spun to me. She awkwardly smiled.

“I'm ready,” she beamed.

I rolled my eyes, taking her hand in mine. We stepped outside on the front porch and Joseph froze, staring ahead. We all stopped, our eyes all locking on a pile of suitcases and bags in the driveway.

“What…is…all…that?” Joseph scowled, gesturing to the luggage.

William and Tanya made their way past him hand in hand as Tanya cheerfully turned back, “That's our luggage!” She shrugged and smiled as they disappeared into the back of the limo.

Joseph sighed, pivoting to face me. “Sir, are you guysmovingto Austria?”

I chuckled, “I’ll make sure we do not over pack the plane.”

Isabelle stepped in front of me, standing on her toes and threw her arms around Joseph’s neck, hugging him tightly. “Have a great Christmas,” she sniffled.

“You too Miss Isabelle,” he reluctantly hugged her in return.

She backed away, pulling something out of her pocket. “This is for you from us,” she smiled, placing a medium sized rectangle box in his hand. It was wrapped with green metallic paper and had a white and red bow on top.

He grinned as he held it close to his body. “Thank you both.”

“You’re welcome.”

He sighed, “I really think it's a good idea if I accompany you because with Fel--.”

I held my palm up to stop him. “We will be okay, Joseph.” I rolled my eyes, “My parents have security covered.”
