Fuck. Okay be right there.

Marching angrily into the bathroom, I cleaned myself before slipping on a pair of black ripped jeans and sneakers. I grabbed my gun, placing it in my waistband then stomped to the elevator, taking it to the tunnels under my estate. Making my way down the long hallway at lightning speed, I went to confront Isabelle's former boss.

He was secured with handcuffs to the pipes as my men left him. I came to a stop in front of him, crossing my arms and glowering down at his battered body. William rolled his eyes as he nudged him with his shoe.

“What's the issue?” I questioned.

“After he finished eating,” Blaine scoffed, “he started to yell some nonsense about the guy bidding against you at the ball.”

He stepped toward Jesse as William took a step back. Blaine picked his foot off the ground then forced it forward, connecting his boot to Jesse's rib cage.

Blaine turned to me, sneering, “I had to tape his mouth shut because he was pissing me off.”

I nodded, scowling down at Jesse as he arched his back against the pipe in pain, moving his body from side to side, his eyes watering as he tried to shout.

“Full disclosure,” Blaine continued, “he spit in my face before that and I punched him too.”

Smirking, I removed my gun from my waistband as I squatted down in front of Jesse, resting my elbows on my knees. He refused to make any sort of eye contact with me as he stared at the floor, squirming. I placed the muzzle of my gun under his chin, slowly lifting his face, forcing him to look at me so I could investigate his eyes.

“I'm going to remove the tape,” I growled in a low tone. “If you raise your voice at me, I will kill you.”

He squirmed.

“If you spit on me, I will kill you,” I calmly muttered.

He twisted his body, thrashing from side to side, attempting to break free from his restraints.

“If you do not answer my every question,” I retorted, “I will kill you.”

He stopped struggling, panting as his gaze finally met mine.

“Are we clear, Jesse?”

He nodded calmly, sweat beading across his brow. I ripped the tape off his face in one quick motion, taking some of his facial hair with it. He yelled in agony as I stood up, tossing the tape on the floor.

“Now, tell me what you told him,” I nudged his leg with my foot.

I dispassionately paced back and forth before him, rolling my eyes in anger, trying to hold myself back from killing him before I got any information from him.

“I'm not telling you shit!” Jesse bellowed as loudly as his lungs would allow him.

I smirked, shaking my head in disbelief. He wanted to push my buttons. He sat silently for a few moments, thinking about what he could say that would really mess with my head. Suddenly he guffawed, dragging the sound out as his laugh came to an abrupt halt. I stopped, turning to look down on him with my arms crossed over my chest. He narrowed his eyes at my glare.

“I should have raped her in my office that night!”

I cocked my head and starting laughing. I held my gun to the side for Blaine. He took it from me as my largest bodyguard, Dante, marched over to Jesse, bending down. He unlocked the handcuffs. He assisted him to his feet then took a step back, crossing his arms over his chest, glaring at Jesse.

“You already broke two of the rules,” I sluggishly licked my bottom lip. "However, it is very unfortunate foryouthat I will not kill you just yet.”

I clenched my fists, staring down at my knuckles, then turned my attention to Jesse. “I am going to make you suffer,” I promised.

“Over some stupid bitch?”

In that moment, I could have taken a superhero down. Every bit of rage and anger I had built up inside me came pouring out. Grabbing him by the shirt, I pushed his body back into the wall, causing his head to smack against the cement, splitting it open. I delivered a jab to his temple, triggering him to crumble to the floor before I hovered over his body, kicking him several times.

He cried out in pain, but I did not care. I wanted him to know that Isabelle was not someone he should have sexually and verbally harassed. I wanted him to pay for his mistakes. Straddling his stomach, I unleashed most of my strength on his face. When blood began to pool on the floor under his head, I stood.I wiggled my fingers, inspecting my bloody knuckles, while making sure that I had not caused lasting damage to myself.

“See to it that he gets medical attention down here but no pain meds,” I ordered.
