Gray didn’t pause, stepping behind me, pressing his sweat-covered body against my back. Grabbing my hips again like it was a move he was familiar with, I couldn’t hide the blush that spread up my neck.

“Hey, man, nice to meet you. You have a pretty special lady here. I, for one, am going to be really sad when she leaves us.”

The change in Ethan was palpable. His blue eyes had blown, so they now appeared black, and he licked his lips greedily. Feeling his eyes on us and having Grayson pressed up behind me sent a rush of pleasure through my body, my pulse hammering between my legs.

No one spoke for a moment, the air thick with tension. When Ethan did speak, his voice was deep and rich, like honey pouring over my skin. “Grayson, it’s a pleasure. And yes, my princess is pretty spectacular, isn’t she?”

Ethan continued to stare as he rolled his bottom lip between his teeth. Grayson’s hands tightened on my hips, and I gasped as I felt his erection swell, pressing hard into my ass.

Realizing what was happening, Grayson coughed, taking a step back, shaking his head. “Nice to meet you, Ethan. Ivy, shall I tell Addi you’re sorted and ready to leave with us?”

I nodded, unable to speak, before he practically ran from the room.

“Ivy…?” Ethan's voice pulled me from the trance I'd fallen under.

“Eth?”

“Do we need to talk?”

“No… Yes… Maybe… I don’t know,” I replied, honestly, unsure about how I was feeling.

“Call me later, but I want you to be 100% honest with me about what you’re thinking and if you lie, I'll make sure to punish you when you get home.”

I couldn’t hold back the groan as I imagined being spread out while he slapped my ass, reddening it with his palm.

“I love you, Ivy. Always.” I looked at the screen of my phone to see the love of my life smiling up at me, mischief flaring in his eyes.

“I love you too, Eth. I can’t wait to get home. I can’t wait for you to be inside me.”

“Soon, but first, we need to talk about whatever is going on here.”

My pulse quickened, and I noticed just how wet I was. I offered him a small smile and a nod before I ended the video call. Heading back to the waiting cars, I hoped that no one would notice me rubbing my thighs together to ease the burning need I felt.

“Ivy, I’ve had a look through the proofs and there isn’t a single photo I don’t love. You have a very special talent. You even made Tanner look sober. I’m happy with whichever ones you think work best. So, can you choose and one of us will give them the final sign off? When do you think you can have them ready?” Addi leaned against the door to my room, looking as perfect as ever. I swore, in the two weeks I’d been with the band, I’d never seen her with a single hair out of place.

“I’ve done all the hard work. I just need to edit them, so how about I give you a call in about a week?”

“Perfect. Right, shall we go celebrate your time with the band in style? I’ve booked a table for dinner and then we thought we might head to a club.”

“I think I’m way too old for clubbing, but let’s see if I can stay awake that long.”

“Old, my ass. You’ve got more energy than me.”

“Yes, but I don’t have four rock stars to look after.”

She laughed, throwing back her head. “Isn’t that the truth? Those four will be the death of me… well, the boys will. Come on. You look amazing, by the way.”

I glanced over at myself in the mirror. My wild ginger curls were everywhere, as usual. I didn’t wear make up because my pale skin was stupidly sensitive and hiding my freckles, impossible. I wore a simple short olive green jumpsuit that buttoned up the front and was cinched in at the waist with a dark brown belt, accentuating my voluptuous curves. I’d matched it with some nude heels and a handbag. I didn’t look bad, but I definitely didn’t look dressed for dinner with rock stars.

“I think I should change.”

“Like hell, you should. Ivy, you look like a goddess. Honestly, you could wear a bin bag and look stylish. Has anyone ever told you that you look like the princess from—”

“Please don’t sayBrave.I might have to hurt you. I bloody hate that film. It ruined my life. My partner has been calling meprincessever since.”

“Oops, sorry. I won’t say another word.” Her eyes crinkled as she tried to hide her laughter. “Come on, if we leave the boys alone for too long, they’ll be too pissed to make it out of the penthouse, never mind going to a club.”

At the restaurant, we’d snuck in via a secret entrance to a private dining room and then gone to the VIP floor of a club, which had been emptied by security. This Cosmic God’s lifestyle was something else. The evening had been fun. Tanner behaved for a while but was now surrounded by three groupies who appeared to be trying to eat his face off in a dark corner. Mav had been hilarious as always, Frankie quiet and subdued but pleasant and excited to see the new press shots, but Grayson had been off all night. Every time I glanced up, he was staring at me, but as soon as our eyes met, he looked away. He’d not eaten much during dinner and was knocking back the shots. I’d tried to catch a moment with him all night, but I sensed he was trying to avoid me.
