“No, son, it’s way past our bedtime and we have VIP tickets to see some band tomorrow. Not sure if they’ll be any good, but I don’t want to be tired.” She winked, laughing at her own joke.

“Cheeky. Okay. There is a car waiting outside. Matt will show you.”

She moved to give all four of them a kiss. She didn’t pause before she moved on to Ivy, hugging her tightly, and then stepped toward me. Guiding me by the elbow, she made sure we were out of earshot of everyone before she spoke.

“Ethan, I know what you have with Gray isn’t traditional and I can’t say I understand it, but watching you with him tonight… seeing how you knew what he was thinking and what he needed, that’s a special kind of love. I’m glad he has you both. I’ve been so worried about him for such a long time. He’s not like Tanner. Tanner will mess himself up loudly and in public, but Grayson does it quietly. I don’t think I have to worry quite as much now. Welcome to the family. Both of you. I’ll be expecting to see a ring on his finger that matches yours soon, I hope.”

“His doesn’t match. We got him his own unique one.”

She didn’t look surprised at my answer.

“Can I give you a bit of advice?”

“Of course,” I replied.

“Don’t get fooled by this life. It’s a lot, but it’s temporary. I’d hate to think it got too much for you and Ivy and it drove you away.”

“Wild horses couldn’t drag us away from Gray.”

She smiled, placing her hand on my chest, tapping me as only a mum could when they wanted to express all the words, but didn’t know what to say.

And I nodded in a silent reply.

Ivy

“God,Ineedashower. I need to wash the rock star and feel like me again,” Grayson announced as he stripped off the leather bands and ring as he walked to the bathroom. “Someone set a timer and yell when I’ve hit my twelve minutes.”

“Okay,” I said, digging out my phone to set the timer. “You okay, Eth? You’ve hardly said two words since we left the restaurant.”

“I’m good, princess. Just thinking.”

“About?”

He pulled me towards him, drawing me in between his thighs where he sat on the edge of the bed. “Well, I was thinking about how beautiful you look in that dress and how excited I am to strip it off you, so I can feel how wet you are for us. But there is something else. I want to give him the ring I bought. What he said tonight, I thought I was going to cry like a baby,” he admitted, running his fingers running over the bracelet Grayson had given me. “But I don’t know how it’ll work. I can’t follow him around the world, living like this. It’s fun for a few months, but the intensity of it all, it’s too much. But I don’t want to be away from him. I want a forever with him, with you. I want that triangle of stars that shine brighter together. What do you think, Ivy? Is this what you want?”

I straddled his lap, the soft material of my dress surrounding us. “Yes, Eth. So much. I want to ask him too. I don’t know how to do this either, but I know I want to. Ask him and then I demand you both fuck me at the same time because it’s all I’ve been able to think about all night.

He lifted the front of my dress, running his hands up my thighs until he found my soft folds. What he didn’t know was that I’d taken my panties off the second we stepped back into the room because they were soaked with my arousal.

“Commando?”

“I was so wet, I had to take them off.”

He pushed two fingers inside me, and his head fell to my shoulder as he groaned. “You weren’t joking, princess.” He pulled his fingers out of me and slipped them into his mouth, his eyes dancing as he tasted me.

The alarm went off on my phone. “Grayson, get your sexy ass out here. We need to talk to you,” I yelled.

A minute later, Gray stepped out of the bathroom, a white towel secured around his waist, droplets of water dancing over his chest and abs. He looked so delicious that I licked my lips while I thought about all the things I wanted to do to his body.

“Starting without me, I see.” He laughed out.

I slipped from Ethan’s lap and pulled him up from the bed, letting him take the lead in this conversation. He took Gray’s hand in his and I took his other one, so we created our own triangle.

“Thank you for our gifts,” I said, unable to take my eyes from the chain that hung against his chest with our names on it, as Ethan began to speak.

“Gray, when I proposed to Ivy, I told her that if you’d stayed, I would have wanted you both. You broke our hearts, but neither of us ever stopped loving you. And now we’ve got you, neither of us wants to lose you again. You’re it for us. You make our lives complete. You bring something we didn’t even know we needed. We love you and I meant what I said in the restaurant. It will always be a yes. So, you asked us and now we’re asking you. Marry us, Gray? Marry us, spend a lifetime with us?”

Grayson paused and looked at me. “I’m with Eth. I don’t know how this will work, but I don’t care. We will make this work. Make up our own rules. Just say yes. We love you too much to not commit the rest of our lives to you.”
