Dinner ends up being at a little bistro around the corner from my apartment and he asks to come over for a while when we finish. I agree and try to remember if it’s picked up as I drive and then my mind wanders to what might happen.
He comes up and I offer him something to drink, getting water from the fridge before joining him on the couch.
“I like the dress,” Kyle tells me, looking over the vintage purple dress I got shopping for the job. “Did everything go well today?”
“I got a few looks from some women, but you’re hot. I expected that.” I grin and drink some water.
“You think I’m hot?” Kyle asks, leaning forward as I laugh.
“I always did, even when we were kids. You’re the total package, Kyle.” I tell him, realizing how close he is to me. Our eyes lock as he leans in to kiss me. I press into him and feel the heat that washes over my skin as his tongue traces over my lower lip, asking for entrance.
I give it to him, feeling him cup my face and deepen the kiss. This wasn’t for show, and I felt my heart flutter in my chest as I stroked my hand over his chest.

I smile against his lips and grip his shirt in my hand. Kyle groans as he leans into me, pressing me back against the couch with his body.
“Why the fuck do I dress this way for work?” He grumbles as he looks down at the suit and tie. “I think I preferred being the casual errand boy.” Kyle slips the jacket off and drapes it over the couch as I watch, lost in it. He loosens his tie, and my mouth goes dry, making me sip my water.
When that joins the jacket, Kyle arches a brow at me. “Is this okay? I just want to be comfortable.”
“It’s fine,” I reply, watching him settle beside me again before kissing me. This time, Kyle is much less restricted and pushes me down to the couch, crawling over me as he kisses my neck. We touched upon this the last time we were here, but I feel different tonight.
This feels different tonight.
He gently presses open mouth kisses to my neck, careful not to leave a mark. That would get the gossip started easily and we need to play this down. I slide my hands into his hair and pull him closer, feeling the heat of his body through the clothes as I close my eyes. I part my legs and he moves between him as my skirt bunches up over my thighs.
Kyle moans my name as I wrap my legs around him. He slides his hand into my hair, gripping it as our lips meet again. This isn’t feeling fake to me anymore, and I arch my hips into him as I moan.
Even through the clothes, I can feel his hard cock pressing into me. Kyle rocks into me, kissing me harder as he holds his body over mine with one muscular arm.
“Laina. I want you,” he tells me as I stare into his eyes.
“I want you too, Kyle.” I reply, watching him look at me with a slow smile.
“Can we go to your room?” Kyle asks, and I nod as I loosen my tight grip on him. Kyle helps me up and I grab the water before he leads me by the hand to my room. “This is good with you?”
“Kyle, I’ve wanted this from the moment you first kissed me. I won’t take it to mean more than it does.” I reach up to unbutton his shirt when we’re in my door, sliding it down his body.
“I didn’t sleep with any of the women from the dates, Laina. It’s been a little while for me.” He tells me and I nod as I take in his body. I run my hands over him, watching as he closes his eyes.
“It has for me as well.” I had a boyfriend before moving here, but it didn’t hurt me in the least to leave him behind. Everyone has just been temporary for me, and I look up at Kyle to see an intense expression on his face. “Can you unzip me?”
“Yes.” He tells me as I turn around, listening to the zipper as he slides it down. When he’s done, I feel him slide it down my body, leaving me in a black bra and underwear set.
I didn’t choose this today, thinking I’d end up in my room with Kyle.
I take a deep breath and turn to him, wrapping my arms around his neck before kissing him again.
