I blink at him in surprise. Did he make a joke with me? I think I like morning Niall. I think I really like him. Like, I might even be falling a little bit in love with him.

Niall lowers his head, brushing a kiss over my lips, sucking my lower lip into his mouth, gently biting down on it.

“I have to head off, amhuirnín,” he sighs, pressing his forehead to mine. “But I’ve left ye a set of keys on the counter in the kitchen. And I’ll leave the SUV here. I want ye to take it to yours and pack your things. When I get home tonight, I want ye moved in.”

It’s not a question, it’s a command, and there’s a hint of his Reaper voice, so a shiver works its way up my spine. But he’s already pressing a kiss to my nose and leaving the bed. Boo.

Niall winks at me, grinning again as he strides into the bathroom. I snuggle in the luxurious bed, my eyes glued to the bathroom door until he emerges. I get another kiss before he leaves. The door to the bedroom closes, followed by another door closing.

Once he’s gone, I clamber out of bed, admiring the gorgeous view. Stepping up to the window, I stare out at Boston. This is incredible. I could stand here and look at this view for hours.

Unfortunately, I can’t stand here for hours. I’m naked, and this isn’t the only tall building. A glance at the floor confirms my clothes are gone. Maybe I can snag one of Niall’s T-shirts. I wouldn’t be opposed to that.

I have no idea what I thought Niall’s place would look like, but it wasn’tthis. We must be on one of the top floors of the building. It is spacious, light-filled, andgorgeous.

This bedroom is twice the size of mine and sparsely furnished with the ridiculously comfortable king bed, minimalist nightstands, and a walk-in closet. Awalk-in closet. I blush when I notice it’s exactly half-full like he’s already cleared out a space for me. But surely not.Right?

Wandering into the grey and white ensuite bathroom, I blink at my sneakers sitting on the floor next to the vanity, a pair of jeans, an oversized sweater, and some underwear sitting on top of the vanity.

Holy hell. Did Niall leave at some point between screwing me sideways last night and waking me up this morning to go to my place and fetch me clothes? When does the man find the time?

The huge shower has a waterfall showerhead. I’m not ashamed to say I spend almost thirty minutes in it. Finally, I shut off the water with a sigh, stepping out and toweling myself dry with the soft, plush towel neatly folded on the vanity.

I hang it next to the one Niall used this morning on the towel rack – theheatedtowel rack –with a smile. Pulling my hair into a messy bun on top of my head, I dress in the outfit he fetched me and wander gawking through the apartment.

I caught a quick glimpse of the main apartment last night when he walked me through, but I was distracted by his order to get naked and kneel on the bed. I take my time now.

The main area is verywhite, with dark furniture, also sparsely furnished. A large, grey fabric sectional sofa faces a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with a drool-worthy surround sound system.

I can’t wait to watch TV on it. I have a thing for old movies, and they’re going to look amazing on that screen. The dining table and chairs are black lacquered wood, and out on the balcony overlooking the stunning city views is a glass-topped dining set and a comfortable-looking two-seater wicker sofa. I’m going to have a coffee out there.

But it’s the kitchen that makes me want to cry. Tears of freaking happiness. White, chrome, grey, minimalist. There are three rounded hanging lights over the center island, which doubles as a breakfast bar.

There’s a freakingrange hoodover the stove. And a wet bar.A wet bar. He’s an angel, and he’s taken me to heaven. And I get tolivehere now? He’s never going to be able to get rid of me. I refuse to live anywhere else.Ever.

As promised, a set of keys is sitting on thewhitemarblecountertop. Skipping over to them, I pick them up with a girly grin. There’s a key to the front door of the building, the apartment door, and the small keycard Niall used last night to open the underground garage gate. A key to the SUV is also attached.

Not wanting to rush off without fully exploring, I quickly peek into the three other rooms;a generically furnished spare bedroom, an office with a desk and a laptop, and a spacious main bathroom with a corner tub. Hello, my new best friend.

Still smiling to myself at what is apparently my new home, I take the lift down to the basement, manage to locate the SUV, and I don’t even have any near misses on the way to my crappy little, cramped one-bedroom in Southie.

I leave a lot of stuff. I don’t need it because I’m moving to a heavenly cloud. I do pack my brand new blender he bought me. I noticed he didn’t have one. Plus, there’s no way I’m leaving it behind. Niall bought it for me!

It takes about ten trips to get everything to his car, but I’m finally driving back to his condo. Thank goodness he has the address programmed into the built-in GPS as “Home.” I grin as I tap the screen, selecting it. Home. Niall and my home. Oh mygod.

The key card works, and it’s easier to unpack everything here because of the elevator. I do it all in one trip. Moving everything from the SUV to the elevator and from the elevator to the front door.

I take my time unpacking, filling the empty half of the walk-in robe, and placing items around the condo. I smirk as I step back and admire my handiwork.

The formerly sparse space is looking more lived-in now. My magazines are on the coffee table. My blender and fruit bowl are on the kitchen countertop. My picture of Dad and me is on my nightstand. I have no idea what side Niall usually sleeps on, but he cuddled me against his left side, so I picked that nightstand for mine.

Trailing my fingers over the wet bar, I eye the glorious stove and range hood. I want to make Niall dinner. I nosily open and close all the cabinets and drawers, stopping in front of the fridge.

Surprise, surprise, his fridge is filled with beer and old takeaway. I throw the food in the trash, tidy up the beer section and make myself a grocery list. I can stock up because I have the SUV and don’t have to drag everything along the street. It’s going to be a novelty.

I wonder what Niall’s favorite food is. I’ve heard of a hearty Irish stew. Maybe I’ll Google a recipe.
