“I was waiting for you to come home. I missed you.”

I inhale deeply, enjoying the scents of cinnamon and oak that always cling to his skin.

“Did ye, lass?” he rumbles, pressing a kiss to my temple. “And what exactly was it ye were missing?”

Tracing my fingers over his collarbones beside my head, I sigh.

“You make me feel safe,” I admit, hearing his sharp, answering intake of breath. “Also,” I breathe, trailing kisses as I move my way down his body. Now his breath is definitely hitching.

“Lass,” he groans as my hand slides into his sweats, stroking his dick from base to tip, pulling it out, my tongue following the same path as my hands. “Jaysus feck, lass.”

His hips jerk as my tongue swirls around the tip like his dick is my favorite lollipop flavor.

I trail my lips along the shaft, suckling his balls, and he groans again, his fingers tangling into my hair. As I glance up, I’m distracted by the look on his face. His eyes are closed, and his head is tipped back on the pillow.

He looks so freakingundonethat I can’t wait. I take as much of him as I can into my mouth, wrap my hand around what’s left, and start bobbing, moving my hand in time with my mouth and gently massaging his balls with my other hand.

Before long, Niall is groaning, and his hips are pumping in time with my lips. I focus my eyes on his face, which showsso much emotion. He stiffens, his eyes flying open and locking with mine.

“Is breá liom tú,” he gasps, staring deep into my soul as his hips jerk roughly and comes hard.

I suck him clean, letting his dick slip from my mouth as he tugs me into his arms, nuzzling his face into my hair. The Irish he said to me was new. I have no idea what it means, but the way he said it has my heart pounding in my chest.

Niall tilts my head back and presses his forehead to mine.

“Is breá liom tú,” he whispers again. I feel like I’ve just melted. Whatever he’s saying, he’s saying it with such a soft, worshipful tone that wraps around my senses and makes me feel alive.

Chapter Twenty-Six

Niall

My stomach churns as Seamus hustles us out of his den, away from Tiggy and her disgusting bowl of pickles and ice cream. That shite can’t be good for her wean. I’m surprised Seamus can stomach watching her eat it.

Seamus waves us into the living room, and I glance around, arms crossed over my chest as Paddy assures Seamus the fourth and final hit is complete.

“I figured as much with the look of the two of you.” He starts to leave, but when neither Paddy nor I move, he stops, raising his eyebrows as his gaze flickers over us. “Is there something else?”

“I’m going to ask Lauren to marry me.”

Seamus is smirking at Paddy, assuring him he has his blessing. Paddy might have Seamus’s blessing, but he also has the strangest engagement ring I’ve ever seen. The fucking thing is brown. He can rabbit on about matching the lass’s eyes all he likes. It’s fuckingbrown.

They both start to leave the room, but I need to talk with Seamus. I clear my throat, and two sets of eyes look curiously at me.

“I need a few days off, Fitzy. If ye don’t mind.”

Seamus blinks at me, looking surprised. “Is everything all right, Niall?”

Aye, it’s fine and dandy, and it’d be better if Paddy fucked off so I can have this conversation in private. He might not have an issue with me being here when he asked Seamus for his blessing, but I’m not Paddy.

“I just need to get some errands run.”

My eyes flicker over to Paddy, and he takes the fucking hint, leaving the room to wait in the SUV. The door swings shut behind him, and Seamus rounds on me, frowning.

“What errands?”

“I need to go to Ireland.”

Seamus’s eyebrows hit his hairline, his mouth falling open in shock.
