His hand stroked my back while he continued to pulse and twitch within me. I loved how big he was and that I could feel every inch of him. Funny how things changed.

“Are you tired, my June?”

“Aren’t you?”

The unwavering hardness filling me answered that question.

“I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to face Vorx and Turik again,” I mumbled against his chest.

“Why not?”

“We haven’t stopped since we came up here.” I lifted my head to look down at Tor. “Isn’t this rude? You said you all want women of your own. Isn’t having sex where they can hear like rubbing it in their faces?”

“No. My brothers are truly happy for those of us who have found females of our own. Hearing you with me gives them hope that there is a female waiting for them. And now, they will know what true happiness sounds like.”

I buried my head against his chest. I wasn’t naïve enough to believe the culture I grew up with was the only “right” way to behave. Public nudity hadn’t been frowned upon in many parts of the world. And there had probably been many cultures with family-unit living where sex would have been heard. It was just hard to set aside what I knew and the shame that tried to pull me under at going against what I’d been taught.

“Rest, June,” Tor said. “We can have more sex when we are home and no one can hear.”

Lifting my head, I gave him a tender kiss.

“I love you, and you love me. There’s no shame in sharing that love with each other behind closed doors. As long as they don’t mind, I don’t mind either.”

Tor gave me a heated look, his hands sliding down to grip my butt tightly as he ground into me.

“I have no words to describe how I feel when I look at you,” he said.

“Desperate?”

He nodded and withdrew enough to thrust up into me.

“Obsessed?”

His agreement was more adamant, and I grinned. My next suggestion was cut short when he rolled us, pinning me under him.

“Quiet, my June,” he said softly. “More men are here.”

My eyes widened.

He grinned at me and kissed me ravenously. And I didn’t just let him. I kissed him back. By the time he pulled away, I was breathless and considering rolling my hips. He made the decision for me, though, by withdrawing.

“I will be back.”

Like last time, he disappeared downstairs without putting any clothes on. There were a few grunts and some scuffling before everything quieted once more. I didn’t wait for Tor to reappear before hurrying for my pants.

“You can come down now,” he called, surprising me.

What surprised me more when I rejoined them was Shelby, Nat’s wife. Unlike the men who were all unconscious, she stood silently crying between Vorx and Turik. All three fey watched me expectantly. Their gazes darted between me and Shelby, who was watching the floor at her feet. Was that due to guilt or Tor’s nudity?

I decided it didn’t matter and went to check the faces of the newcomers. Her husband lay among them.

“The fey don’t want to hurt anyone,” I said, facing her. “They only knocked these men out to prevent them from hurting me.”

She nodded and quietly sniffled. The tears weren’t coming fast. The slow trails were more resignation than fear or panic.

“Is anyone else going to come? Or is this everyone willing to steal food at the risk of exile?”

She dropped her head a little more but not enough to hide her pained expression.
