I loosen my grip on Ciar’s hair, letting him breathe. When he sits on his heels, panting a little, covered in my juices, I can feel myself getting red.

I cut off his breathing. I lost control.

“Do not feel shame,” he warns, his serious tone scaring me a little. “I fucking loved that,mo sholas, and the moment you’re not as sensitive? I’m doing that again.”

“What about you?” I ask, motioning to the clear tent in his pants.

“Tonight is about you,” he replies, shaking his head. He gets up off the bed, and heads into the bathroom. I pause when I hear the tap running, but he just comes back in with a glass of water for me. “Drink.”

I sip at the water, confused as to what is happening. I still feel needy, but he’s being so nice as he strokes my back, and after drinking, I have to admit I do feel more relaxed.

“That was an intense orgasm,” he murmurs. “I just want to know you’re feeling good.”

“I am,” I say with a nod. “Um, I’m sorry about my magicae outburst.”

That causes him to roar with laughter, and I can’t help feeling bad about it. The hurt is clear on my face, and it takes him a second to notice.

“Shit, sorry, Zoe,” he murmurs, the humour immediately fading. “I laughed, but that was rude of me.”

“Why did you laugh?”

“Because the magicae outburst was everything. Our magicae is our core, it’s what makes us us. The fact that you lost control, let it out the way you did, it was perfect.Iungo.”

“Join?”

“Connect,” he says. “It’s another layer to our bond. The fact that you reached that our first time? It’s like a boost to my ego, it’s a good thing.”

“Oh.”

“But I do apologise for laughing. I should’ve taken the time to explain rather than belittling your feelings.”

“You didn’t,” I say with a smile.

“I love you,mo sholas.”

I’m proud that I barely hesitated before replying with, “I love you too,m’anam.”

“Now, are you ready to go again?”

“Again?” I gasp, but he’s already moving down the bed.

He tugs my legs, pulling me down, and I gasp, but he doesn’t pause in his movements. He’s a man with a goal, and that goal is my pleasure.

ELZORA

“This is starting to worry us, Elzora,” Headmaster Whisperfelt says, frowning at me like I’m a problem student. “We can’t keep wasting academy resources on you.”

“You don’t pay me,” Necos says, sounding annoyed. I don’t want to turn and look, though, so I’m purely basing that off of his voice. “The only resources we’re using is the office space, and that’s nothing you’d be using anyway.”

“Well, actually, that’s something we could have someone of use using,” Headmaster Whisperfelt replies. His dyed, light blonde hair looks even lighter with the bright, hideous, yellow suit he’s wearing.

Every other time I’ve met the man, his suit has been perfectly tailored, perfectly coloured to suit his tanned skin tone, but today he just looks all kind of wrong.

I’m kind of sad Ryes isn’t here because I know this would make him happy.

“I find it very coincidental that you’re setting this meeting with her when Theran is away,” Necos says, coming to stand behind my chair. He doesn’t touch me, not wanting to draw attention to our bond in any way, but his presence alone is enough to calm my racing heart.
