Caro searched his eyes and could feel the certainty behind his words. Something inside her just released, and all the doubt and tension that she’d been holding back for so very long evaporated. She could admit to herself that she believed in this man. She believed in what she could have here with him and knew she had to grab on to it with everything in her.
