“Fuck yeah—” Esteban groans and grabs my head.

His cum floods my mouth in a shockwave of salty liquid I wasn’t prepared for. I automatically swallow, regretting it immediately. Why the fuck didn’t I think about this until it was too late? I was far too caught up on Stacia that I just wanted to get it over with.

I gag and spit, trying to rid my mouth of the taste of Esteban’s load. I’ll think twice about asking anyone to swallow no matter how hot it is to me.

“Damn.” Stacia’s soft voice pulls me from my haze of rage, disgust, and annoyance. The second our eyes meet, my heart rises from the pit of my stomach. I know that look. I’ve seen it a dozen times after pinning her down and sinking balls deep into her perfect pussy. She enjoyed it. Watching me fucking swallow turned her on. And damn, I wish I could slip my hand under her haphazardly placed robe and touch her warmth to confirm it for myself.

“This meeting is adjourned. Take note of the repercussions of stepping out of line. We follow a code for a reason. It’s how our chapters thrives.” His Majesty, Kenneth St. Germaine, speaks up before William can, and I snatch my clothes from the floor. “We’ll see everyone in two weeks. Let’s hope our next session will proceed without interruption or disobedience.”

Esteban offers his hand out, passing me and helping Stacia from the floor. She wobbles on bare feet and shivers.

“And Princess, there are matters to discuss with the King’s Court. Please get dressed and join us in the chamber room in ten minutes.” William blows the candles out, blanketing the room in darkness. Figures silently exit the vast room, and light filters in from the stairs. I remain on my knees, trying to process what the hell happened.

I sucked my best friend’s cock.

But what gets to me more is that my ex-girlfriend liked it.

This will hang over me as collateral, but who the fuck cares? This isn’t the same era our parents grew up in. It shows exactly how outdated the Looking Glass chapter has become. How out of touch the kings of this area have become.

For the first time ever, I want to make changes.

“Hey, pendejo. You all right?” Esteban grips my shoulder and shakes me. “That was fucking wild.”

“Wild?” I ask, my voice boiling with my anger. “Are you shitting me?”

I lose my composure, my rage controlling my body as my mind cowers. I lunge forward into Esteban, knocking him on his ass.

“Christos!” Stacia screams, thudding her feet on the cold floor, closing the space. “Stop it.”

I grind my teeth and grab Esteban’s shirt, fisting it in my hand. I hold him down as I swing and punch him in the jaw. He scowls and shoves me off, sending me sliding across the floor.

Stacia gets between us, raising each of her palms. “Stop it. I said fucking stop it! You’re not going to fight each other. Haven’t we all been punished enough? You know the King’s Court will figure out a way to blame me. Taking my place only pissed off the court even more. You know they wanted me punished, not you.”

Stacia trembles, her body shaking with her quivering mouth. A mouth so beautiful I can remember kissing it a dozen times. I still dream about her.

And then a tear splashes on her cheek, the warm tendril freezing me in place. The last time I saw her cry was when she found out that I filmed us fucking and turned it into the Rabbit Hole chapter I had belonged to before I was sent abroad and landed in Greece with family. Then the call to return came.

“Yeah, pinche pendejo. You need to chill.” Esteban cups his jaw, rubbing the shadow turning into a bruise.

I clench my fingers into fists, wanting to punch him again. “This is your—”

Stacia slaps me, sending my head jerking to the side. “Stop being a prick. You chose to take my place. You’re not going to fucking blame anyone. This is your fault.”

“Damn straight.” Esteban releases a groan.

Stacia points at him. “Just shut the fuck up and get out of here. Don’t forget you owe me a favor. But right now, I just need you to leave.”

I expect Esteban to argue. He’s not used to being told what to do, especially in his line of work. No one gets away with pushing Esteban around, except for those on the King’s Court, but he squares his shoulders and marches away without comment.

Stacia’s always had a way with people. She could either have them wrapped around her finger, on their knees, or testing their last resolve. And right now, I’m feeling all three.

I bow my head, inhaling and exhaling, trying to get my anger under control. I’ve always had a bit of a short fuse, but I’ve been working on it. It was part of my sabbatical in Greece. I needed time to just figure my life out. I kind of lost control when Stacia left me. She was the one I had planned to marry. I even had the ring picked out for when we went through our initiation. She just wanted to wait until she graduated. Me? I wanted to marry her a month after we had been dating. She was it for me. She still is.

“Christos, I don’t know what to say to you. Thank you does not feel right, all things considered.” Stacia keeps her distance, crossing her arms over her chest, pulling the rope tighter.

“Don’t say anything. I just want a minute to talk. There’s so much I have to say to you. I’m hoping after all these years, you could show me some pity and give that to me. I know I don’t deserve it but please. I just want to make things right.” I step forward, trying to reach for her hands.

She recoils.
