I grin, chancing an uncertain glance at Luca. But he doesn’t look jealous. He’s not gnashing his teeth in possessive rage. He just studies me, making sure I’m okay and letting me know he’s unbothered with what happened.

Based on what I’ve deduced from our time together, I shouldn’t be surprised he’s cool with this.

“I hope you lose the next round too,” Reuben rumbles. “Based on that, I want another.”

With Reuben’s attention on me, I finish my beer, my lips molded around the bottle as I chug it down, swallowing loudly. Blowing out a breath, he stands and heads for the kitchen to retrieve more refreshments. I’m not sure how much I’ve had now but I don’t feel under the influence. I’m making decisions I’m happy with, that I will own, just as I always have, even if they’re unpopular.

With the next round, Luca loses his pants, sitting on the couch in just some tight-fitting jock shorts. He looks scrumptious and sinful, and I let my eyes linger appreciatively.

Finally, Brecken loses his shirt, stripping off to reveal that not only does he havetwosleeves of ink, but both shoulders, his chest and back are covered too. I get a major thirst right then, and not for beer. He is fucking sensational, and I want a ride on that man, and soon.

If Brecken notices how dilated my pupils are, or how I fidget, he doesn’t comment on it. But I know they can all tell I’m desperately turned on, by all of them, just as I can tell they want some action.

When I lose the next round, Luca tries to hide his deeply satisfied reaction. He’s been patiently waiting for this, and it’s finally paid off. The air is taut with sexual expectancy. Their smiles range from wicked to anticipatory to downright hungry, and my heart kicks out in longing.

For a stalled moment, I pretend to think about my next move, but every drumming beat of my heart instructs me to go in only one direction. I want to feel their predatory eyes on my body, to see their discomfort with how much they want me. Standing, I slowly strip out of my t-shirt, throwing the item toward Luca. In just a sheer black bra to match my thong, I let them look indulgently. Reuben’s eyes skim over my breasts like a phantom touch, my nipples hardening.

“Nowit’s getting interesting,” Brecken murmurs to Luca.

“I’ll deal,” I offer, gathering their cards and giving them a show as I lean across the table, perching my ass in the air.

But in the next round, my cards are so shitty that I just throw them to the table and look at Brecken. Unlike Reuben, he keeps his expression under wraps. But small, unspoken clues tell me he’s more invested than he wants me to believe.

Or so I think.

Seated opposite me, there’s no way we can lean across the table without inadvertently pushing everything onto the floor, so he stands, walking slowly around to my side. On shaky legs, I rise from the couch. Kissing Brecken is more nerve-racking than my first night with Luca. More disconcerting than wondering what they were all talking about upstairs when they arrived, and then coming to stand in front of me in the kitchen as if in judgment.

In my bare feet, Brecken seems massive standing next to me in his tattooed, half-naked glory. He’s like some warrior from a fantasy novel, pound after pound of lean muscle glowing from the firelight, his hair glinting with it.

Regulating my breathing is a fool’s errand. I can’t catch my breath. His face is intoxicating, his body mouth-watering.

Brecken’s hands take hold of my naked waist. For a second, he just holds me deathly still, controlling me. Our eyes bind, and finally, I see blatant interest in his hypnotic gaze, his pupils blown, his touch softening. A hand comes up my back. I push onto my tip toes while his head descends. Our lips meet gently, the kiss almost reticent before it turns hungrier, Brecken groaning as our tongues touch for the first time. But then he sweeps into my mouth with dominance, aggression bristling from his strong frame. His arms gather me against him, crushing my breasts against his inked chest, his kiss controlling and fierce.

My mind scrambles.

When his hands glide over my ass, rubbing me against the steel bar in his pants, I try and win back some space. But he’s relentless, snaring me more tightly within his arms as he ravages me.

With a curse, he suddenly pulls away, sucking in lungfuls of air as I collapse to the couch, panting like I’ve run a timed race.

Holy shit, these guys can kiss.

The room feels too warm, too suffocating, even though the fire is just a pile of glowing red charcoal. Offering Brecken a reassuring smile, who’s just standing there, looking down at me with a confused, almost hateful expression, I squeeze past him towards the patio doors, throwing them open and relishing the blast of cold air. It sucks at my skin, fresh and cleansing as I rewind the past couple hours.

I’ve had friends who would be scandalized by my actions, who’ve never had threesomes or been shared by guys. But those kinds of relationships are ones I’m more familiar with, so I don’t feel guilty about making out with three hot men. I just feel incredibly lucky to be liberated, and unburdened by guilt or self-imposed judgments.

And we’re all grown-ups here. And while I don’t know how long these three have been friends, they must’ve done something similar before to be so chilled. They must find that jealousy or possessiveness doesn’t factor, or else why do it?

Closing the door, I find my clothes, redressing. Luca is still shirtless, but his legs are covered by his jeans. He holds out a glass of water for me which I greedily accept.

“I’m gonna get going. I need to clock out and head home.”

“Let one of us go with you.”

“Justin is on a late shift tonight. I’ll hang until he’s ready.”

Luca just nods, accepting my decision and not querying who Justin is, or what he is to me. I’m about to tell him I share a place with him and Emily, but decide it’s not important right now.

“Is it how you imagined it would be?” I ask. Was the nightinterestingenough?
