Held by him like this I’m unable to move, so I give myself entirely over to his possessive dominance. Our kiss is passion and fire and pent-up need. No space exists between our bodies. Every soft part of me meets every hard inch of him. A whimper lodges in my throat, his erection prodding into my stomach. Desperate for relief, I rub up against the massive bulge. If Luca kisses with his whole body, then Brecken kisses with every emotion in his wheelhouse.

“I meant it,” he growls out, pulling back before nipping at my bottom lip. “Before you ask, you’re mine. And I meant every word I’ve ever said to you.”

My brain has fried, overheated from his ferocious kiss, from his heady, manly cologne, and the way he consumes me. I can’t recall everything he’s ever said to me at this exact moment, but I know I wasforbidden. Hisfantasy.

“This is real, Brecken. This isn’t a dream. You can have me.”

“I know,” he forces out through heavy breaths.

I’m just as breathless. “I want you. All of you.”

“You don’t think I want to sink inside you and live there for a week? Winter, it’s all I think about.”

“Then have me.”

“I will, believe me. I will have everything of yours.”

I sense a but. “Let’s go back and you can make good on your word.”

He looks torn. A furrow appears on his brow, mostly hidden by his hair falling over his forehead. His hands gather mine, holding tight. “Not until Aspen, Winter. Those are my terms.”

“Terms?” I don’t understand.

Steel-blue eyes graze over my face with beseeching tenderness. “It’s what I need, trust me. Please.”

I can’t hide my disappointment, huffing out a long sigh which makes us both smile with awareness. “I’m seriously frustrated here.”

“I can tell. Take it out on Reuben and Luca.”

I shake my head, disbelieving he can offer such a selfless answer by encouraging me to find comfort in his brothers.

“Aspen?”

“Aspen,” he confirms.

CHAPTERFOURTEEN

Brecken

Tension still gripsevery muscle I own as I bundle Winter into the car. Keeping an eye out for her deadbeat ex as I do, I clock him loitering by a nearby building, watching Winter with possessive intensity.

I guess I didn’t make it abundantly clear just how ready I am to annihilate him.

I power towards him with long, determined strides, calling out to my brothers, “Give me a minute.”

Aware of Roo trailing me by a few meters, I set my sights on Levi. As soon as he sees us coming for him he moves on. At speed.

“Keep walking!” I shout. “If we cross paths again I will end you,” I bellow, my voice carrying across the street.

“Hey, man come on. I just want to speak to her.”

I quicken my strides, growling, “I will rip out your heart and shove it down your throat before you have the chance.”

Paling, Levi Banner runs in the opposite direction to me. As he disappears down the sidewalk I yell, “I will kill you if you come within five miles of her. Stay the fuck away!”

I amnotfucking around.

“Mate,” Roo chuckles. “I haven’t seen you turn psycho in forever.”
