“The only thing better than this current view is your face the moment you fall apart on my cock.”

She ran her nails over every plane of his chest and down his perfectly tight abs before latching on to the button of his jeans. The second his dick sprung free, she wrapped her hand around him.

“Fuck,Nat.” He threw his head back, his jaw tight and his eyes pinched closed. His pleasure spurred her on. “Feels too good,” he muttered before stepping back. “Get those pants off. I need to be inside you.”

“Now who’s in a hurry?” She smirked before they both hastily shed their clothing and he pinned her against the door again.

He swiped two fingers through her wetness before thrusting them inside. “So wet for me.”

“Declan,” she moaned loudly.

He slanted his mouth over hers to quiet her and pumped his fingers in and out.

“I want to watch you ride my cock.”

Natalie gasped when Declan lifted her again, walking backward before dropping onto the bed and lying back. She pressed her palms flat on his chest and slid slowly down his length.

He cupped her breasts, his thumbs working the tiny nubs as she rocked, matching her tempo. Her movements became more erratic as she undulated her hips and Declan pressed hard on her clit and circled it. That was all it took for her orgasm to flood through her like a tidal wave.

She bent forward, her hands hitting the mattress on either side of Declan’s head and her core constricting over and over as he gripped her hips and thrust up twice more, emptying himself inside her.

He pulled her to his side, and she lay her head on his chest. She wanted so badly to stay here curled up with him, but she refused to put Declan’s relationship with his son in jeopardy. She tried to slowly pull back, but his arms tightened.

“Don’t go,” he whispered and pressed his lips to her forehead. “Stay with me this time.”

“Declan, we can’t—”

“I’ll set an alarm for five. Chris won’t be up that early, and if he gets up. I’ll deal with it.”

“You’re sure this is okay?”

“Yes.”

She’d enjoy it. She’d live in the moment just this once. But tomorrow, they’d have to talk. She wanted more, and it was time to find out where this was going. They’d have one more night together here, and then she needed to get back to Addy.

Declan yawned. He was not used to late nights and early mornings. He was teased often about his strict diet and his sleep schedule. But there was a reason he was still at the top of his game at thirty-four. Discipline. The only thing that topped baseball was his son. But this week, someone else was wedging her way into a slot above the game too.

Staying up until one tangled in the sheets with Natalie had been worth it—more than worth it. But he was dragging today. Natalie, of course, acted like she had all the energy in the world after only four hours of sleep.

She’d left his room to sneak back to hers at five, and not even an hour later, Chris had them both up. The sun hadn’t even started its ascent while Declan sipped from his first cup of coffee. The look of excitement on Chris’s face and his gratitude were everything. And having Natalie sitting next to him on the sofa multiplied the joy he felt. Close, not on his lap like he would have liked, but next to him so they touched from hip to knee, and the scent of lavender wafting around him was almost as good.

All morning, he wished he had something to give to her. It was weird that a week ago, when he’d gone shopping, he hadn’t even known her, and now he couldn’t imagine not having her in his life. Chris had wrapped two colored snowflakes so she could take them home and hang them on her windows. His son was almost as smitten with the woman as he was.

Declan yawned and took a sip from his almost empty coffee cup, listening to the laughter that drifted in from the kitchen. Natalie and Chris were making breakfast. He smiled at the happiness that radiated from that room. He knew all the reasons he shouldn’t ask for more from her, but he wasn’t sure he would be strong enough to walk away tomorrow.

He stood, needing a refill, but the vibration of Natalie’s phone on the coffee table stopped him. He leaned over, seeing Greg’s name on the screen. Unlike when Lauren called for no reason or to be difficult, Greg only called when necessary. So he grabbed the phone and walked into the kitchen.

“Greg’s calling,” he said, holding the phone out.

“Thanks.” Natalie’s fingers brushed his, sending a zing straight to his dick. Damn, she revved him up. But the pinch in his heart when she smiled was stronger.

Declan turned his attention to his son, who was studying them both, head cocked to the side, straight dark hair hanging over one eye. Although they’d had that conversation about kissing Natalie a few nights ago, it was probably time Declan talked to him again. An open and honest “hey, dude, she’s probably going to be around for a while, but that won’t change anything between us” conversation.

But should he talk to Natalie first? Maybe they could get a few minutes after breakfast. Chris would definitely flee rather than help clean up the dishes.

Natalie took the phone, hit Accept, and brought it to her ear.
