“Fuck me,” I whisper.

His gaze darts to my face. “Say it again, London.”

“Fuck me,” I say louder this time.

“Again.” He groans as he pushes the wide crown inside.

I stall on a moan because it feels that good. He’s long, thick, and larger than anyone I’ve been with. When he’s fucked me, I felt the ache for hours after. I crave that feeling now.

He pulls out, and I whimper. “Harry, please.”

“Please,” he repeats. “Please fuck you hard?”

“Yes,” I cry out in a breathless rush. “I want that.”

His hands grip my hips as he drives into me with one merciless thrust.

“Ava.” My name leaves his lips like an oath as if he’s promising me that he’ll give me exactly what I want.

He does. Each pump of his hips is deeper than the last, and as we ride the crest together, I whisper something that I’ve never said to any man before, “I love you.”

He’s too lost in his own pleasure to hear me, but I feel the words echo within me as I let go, knowing that I’ll never forget this moment or this man.

CHAPTER FIFTY-TWO

Harrison

“Hey, Harry!” Sean calls to me as I step out of the door of the building that houses my office.

I turn to see him on the approach.

I spent the night with his sister, and even though I’ve put in a full day at the office, I haven’t been able to forget how she looked when I got out of her bed early this morning.

She was half-awake, her hair a tousled mane on the pillow. Her lips were swollen from my teeth. I latched onto them when I came for the second time. Everything blurred at that moment except what I felt inside.

I fell in love with Ava Wells last night, and soon, I’ll have to let her go.

“Sean.” I raise a hand in greeting. “What are you doing here?”

“Looking for you.” He chuckles. “You’ve been busy.”

I throw that back at him. “So have you. How’s Callie?”

“Good.” He nods. “The pregnancy is going great. No issues at all. In fact, we’re going to tell my folks on Friday. They’re flying in for a quick visit.”

I nod like I don’t have a fucking clue that they’re headed north.

He motions for us to walk, so I fall in step beside him. He clears his throat. “Ava has her heart set on us all going to a movie on Friday night. You should tag along.”

My head snaps in his direction. “What? Why?”

If Sean had any inkling of what I’ve been doing with Ava, he’d have me up against a wall. He sure as fuck wouldn’t be inviting me to a family gathering.

“Lauren Adams is starring in it.” He laughs. “Remember how hard we were crushing on her in high school? It would be a hoot to go to the movies together again.”

I should point out that he had the crush, and it lasted all of one day when we saw her in her debut role, but I want to be there for Ava. If this is the route I need to take to get there without him suspecting anything, I’m in.

“I’ll be there,” I tell him with a pat on his back. “Text me the time and place.”

“Good.” He grins. “I’m taking you out for a drink and some wings.”

“I don’t eat wings, and I need to slow down on the alcohol.”

“You’ll keep me company then.” He points to the corner. “There’s a pub I like two blocks away.”

I don’t argue because time spent with Sean is always welcome. I’d prefer to be with his sister right now, but if luck is on my side, I’ll be back in her bed on Friday night after the movie credits roll.

I race up the sidewalk toward the theater. I’m not late, but my plan was to arrive early because I wanted a few moments alone with Ava.

I have a gift for her to commemorate tonight, but if I can’t steal her away before the film starts, I’ll drop by her place later.

Roxy is at home with our mother. Jos is in the food lab feverishly working on another dessert idea, and Ryden is god knows where so I should be on my own until at least the morning.

I spot Ava almost immediately. She’s dressed in red again. This time it’s a dress that fits snugly. The hemline of the skirt is a modest knee-length, but the garment showcases her curves to perfection.

She looks like heaven on earth to me.

Sean is the first to spot me. He waves me toward the group of six with his hand.

I button my suit jacket, wanting to look my best for Ava even though everyone else in attendance is dressed casually, including Declan.

“Look who it is,” Sharon Wells steps toward me. “It’s been a long time, Harrison.”

I take Ava’s mother into my arms. She hugs me tightly.
