One long hand is on my hip, while the other is cupped around my shoulder. Enzo is rocking my body against him like I am weightless and start to float. My mind gets blurry as the orgasm hits me; I try not to scream, but something awakens within me, and I don’t think I can shut it up. Not when I have upgraded to a new level.

“Fuck, Phoebe, babe, I’m going to cum.” Enzo makes the statement out of his mouth like an apology, but I want us both to fight our way to heaven. Away from the pain of the past.

“Let go, Enzo. Come fly away with me, honey.” I am out of breath by the time I get the words out. And Enzo is following my request as he pulls out before jamming himself back into me. Emptying his frustration as he fills me with trust.

Chapter 4

Kenzo

35.0500° N, 32.3000° E Akamas Peninsula, Cyprus

Thereareplacesinthe world you don’t believe exist. That place for me is in Cyprus. An island south of Turkey. Have you ever been somewhere and it felt different? It has an unnatural attractiveness. Like it felt special; even the air you breathed was changing the biology in your body.

Surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea, I fell in love. My eyes blink, but there aren’t words for how I feel. The sight of the ocean and beaches combining.

The citizens here call themselves the Cypriots.Cyprus is divided into two. The northern country is the Turkish Republic, while the south is the Greek population.

“I am guessing you don’t speak Greek?” At least I think it’s Greek; it might be Turkish. But I am not sure.

“No, do you?” Phoebe’s eyes are quizzical like maybe there is a fact I have kept hidden from her.

“Are we always going to show up without a plan?” I tug the straps on my backpack and stare down the street.

“Where is the fun in discovery if you have a backup plan?” I don’t even blame her; I know I can always trust her. I love her that much. I never knew I could love someone so much. It’s a healthy obsession, without red flags and drama of who I am talking to, where I have been.

We watch a few people wander around us.

“That doesn’t sound like Greek.” It might I don’t know, the only Greek I have heard is fromMy Big Fat Greek Wedding. A show my mother would have me constantly watch because she thought it was adorable.

“And you know what Greek sounds like because?” Phoebe smiles then look back down at the map. “But I think you might be right; it looks like we are on the Turkish side. So do you know Turkish?”

“Shut up, you brat!” I bump her on her shoulder.

“You ask me if I speak Greek; how long have we been doing this, and you think I have been hiding out on a skill like the third language?” She doesn’t boast about it, but Phoebe has picked up a few parts of every language.

“Where have we headed, miss adventurer?”

“I heard someone in the bathroom talk about the Blue Lagoon and baths of Aphrodite.” Phoebe checks the map to see how far away the locations are.

“Gross, I don’t want to see some goddess’s old bathwater.”

“Asshole.” She calls me a teasing name without looking up. “It looks like we can catch a bus or rent a buggy or quad bike.”

“No way? Are you talking about four-wheeling in paradise? I know you are tempting me with a little off-roading action.” I am so in; we need a little excitement and thrill.

“Alright, let’s go see where we can rent them.” Phoebe takes my hand, and we walk a few blocks before we are greeted with my favorite toy.

“Should we get one or two?”

“I don’t know; how easy are they to drive?”

“You haven’t ever driven one?” I run my hands over the leather seat.

“Nope.”

“It’s pretty easy.” But Phoebe doesn’t seem confident in her driving abilities right now. “How about we get one, you hop on the back, and I will give you a tour of Aphrodite’s toilet water.”

“You get funnier every year we spend together.” After we pay and she climbs on the back, securing her hands around me, we are off.
