The other issue is Aria being here. I still want to get to know her, and I need to respect her space.

I let him continue moving me over his dick, and even though I’m throbbing, I push down hard too. My hands are circling into his hair, trying to grip, and I’m totally lost in the feeling of us. When we pull apart, I’m panting hard. I try to suck some deep breaths of air into my lungs so I can speak.

“Oh,Bella, I want to take you back inside and spread you on every surface of my house and have my way with you.”

A soft moan slips from me, imagining him fucking and licking me all around his gorgeous place.

“Imagine all the positions I could have you in.”

I can imagine vividly.

“Marc. That was…” I struggle to form a full sentence.

He cuts me off with another breathless kiss, and I grab the back of his head and kiss him back once more.

His hand skims my lower back and grabs my ass to lift me. I accept and enjoy the way he holds me effortlessly, breaking the kiss to move my hands to the sides of his face. Holding him tenderly and laying a brief kiss on him that needs to be our last tonight.

“You’re dangerous.”

“And you’re tempting. I am holding on to the last bit of restraint I have.”

I swallow hard. “Aria.”

“Exactly why I haven’t already taken you to my bed. Because don’t mistake me. I want you in it and I’ll have you in it…soon.”

I don’t answer because I don’t know what to say. I guess I agree.

But what does this mean now? His presence definitely has a way of clouding my thoughts.

“You are definitely winning me over; I can tell you that.”

“So it’s less of an issue now?” he asks, wiggling his brows at me.

I can’t help but smile at his lit-up face. He’s so damn cute. But I can’t go running off into the sunset and get his or my hopes up. Baby steps.

“Well, I feel okay with it,” I say, staring down into his dark eyes. Under the stars and the moon, I can see his eyes in a different light. Still drawing me in close to him.

His large smile is back. “That’s all I can ask for.”

With the way he’s looking at me now, a wash of nerves and panic hits me. Does he think I’m all in?

I swallow the lump in my throat and hope what I’m about to say doesn’t hurt him, but I need to be sure we are on the same page. “Just to be clear, we’re still not dating. I have my job to consider.” I exhale while looking up into his eyes. And as I watch his face soften, I breathe again.

“No, only when you’re ready. I won’t push you.” His lips twist, as if trying to hold back a smile. “Much.”

I giggle and peck him on the lips, but I pull away slowly. He lowers me to the floor, and being here like this as he holds me up, I feel young and free. No work or home life to think about.

Just me and him in each other’s arms.
