He rams into her with breathtaking ferocity, the couch rocking back and forth with each movement. His release follows behind me, and he pumps his hips in and out a few more times before pulling out completely. I watch his cum drip down one of her legs, mixing with mine, as his hand slips between her legs and shoves the dripping fluid back inside her.

She hisses softly as Salvatore pulls out, her legs wobbling slightly before she collapses on the couch between us, and I pull her against my chest.

I plunge my tongue into her mouth as her hands glide up my arms, and her fingers slide into the hair at the base of my neck before we break apart with a gasp.

“That was…” she begins before shaking her head, as if searching for the right words to describe the kiss we just shared.

“Yeah,” I respond, a huge smile spreading across my face as words seem to escape me.

I don’t know where this girl came from or how she found her way into our lives, but I’m thankful. She has brought something to our lives we never knew was missing, igniting something between the four of us that’ll never be extinguished. No matter what happens. No matter who tries to tear us apart.

EPILOGUE

ONE YEAR LATER

CELIA

It’s been two and a half years since I woke up alone in a strange apartment, fearing for mine and my sister’s lives, and not a day goes by that I don’t pray for her safety. Unfortunately, we still don’t know where Willa is, and I’ve pretty much given up hope that we’ll ever find her alive.

I can’t even imagine what my life would be like if I never answered that phone. I’d probably have graduated from Amherst, gotten some job that made me feel terrible about myself, and never met the men who worship the ground I walk on. That sounds like a miserable existence if you ask me. By some luck, I was never unenrolled from school, although I’m sure Salvatore had something to do with that. My men encouraged me to go back to school and follow my dreams, but after some thought, I realized that being a psychologist was no longer a dream of mine. The only thing I wanted was to stay with my men and find my sister—too bad only one of those has come true.

Salvatore swore to me he’d do everything in his power to discover who did this to me and my sister but has come up empty. The pain of knowing my sister is out there, dead or alive, tugs at my heart daily. I’m plagued with the knowledge of knowing that she could’ve been suffering this entire time, waiting for me to come and find her while I’m tucked away, safe and loved by three amazing men I know would do anything for me.

Looking into the mirror, I try to focus on everything good that has happened since my men saved me from Mr. Black’s ill intentions. Even today, one of the happiest moments of my life, is ruined by the questions running around in my head.

Why am I alive?

Why haven’t they contacted me again?

Why me?

These questions and more plague my soul, leaving me walking the fine line between despair and hope.

The day I promised to be theirs, I was convinced we’d figure out who had my sister quickly. But then days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months, and we are no closer to discovering the truth.

Salvatore, Antonio, and Matteo left no stone unturned in the search to find my sister, but I resented them. Blaming each of them for what happened to me and not knowing where my sister was, when deep down, I know it’s no more their fault than my own. But it took time for me to come to that conclusion. After a lot of tears, we made it through, and our bond is stronger than ever. These three men go out of their way to make sure I’m happy and never want for anything, but days like today always remind me of what Willa is missing out on.

She wasn’t standing beside me on my wedding day, as unconventional as it was. All three of them fought for weeks over who I was going to marry, each of them coming up with a different reason why it should be them before finally settling on Salvatore. Not only is he the eldest—by three minutes, as Antonio loves to remind all of us—but he’s also the figurehead of the Genovese family. Being his wife comes with certain protections among other mafia families, but everyone knows I belong to all three men.

Willa wasn’t around to hold me in her arms, telling me everything was going to be okay as I cried tears of joy, looking down at the plus sign on a pregnancy test. And now, she isn’t here to celebrate our little one’s coming into the world in a few months. Willa will miss so many major moments in life because of me, because I wasn’t strong enough to protect her.

“They sent me to find out what’s taking you so long, Celia,” Antonio whispers in my ear before pulling it between his teeth and running his hands over my belly. “Everyone is waiting to find out what we’re having.”

“Everyone but you, of course.” I giggle, running my hand up around his neck and threading my fingers into the fine hair at the base.

A few weeks ago, when it was time to find out the sex of the babies, I gave the boys a choice: find out the sex of our babies or wait. Sal and Matteo chose to wait, somehow settling on the notion that they could convince me to wait, too. But the joke’s on them. Antonio and I had other plans. We immediately made an appointment with the doctor the next day and found out we were having a little girl and a boy. Today, we are having a gender reveal party, letting Sal and Matteo and everyone else in on the news.

“Penny for your thoughts?”

“Willa.” My eyes lock with his in our reflection. “I want to name her Willa.”

“We will find her, Celia.” Antonio plants a kiss on the base of my neck before spinning me around in his arms and brushing against mine.

“You three don’t have the best track record.” I suck in a breath, shaking my head vehemently as he wraps his arms. “We should’ve found her already…”

This isn’t the first time that my sister’s disappearance has caused a rift to form between me and my men, and I doubt it will be the last. Each one of them handles things differently. I’ve never been more thankful for the handful of psychology classes I took at college. It’s allowed me to give the guys a little more leeway with the way they handled this situation, as well as helped me find the correct way to process my feelings.

“We will find your sister, Celia.” Salvatore comes strolling into the room, hands shoved into his pockets, but I can see the muscles in his neck straining.
