“Right.” I check my phone and see that the guys texted.

Tank:we can’t let her go

Well, I don’t know that they have a choice, other than waiting to see if we managed to get her pregnant. I don’t want her to want us out of obligation though.

Purge:We have a plan B

Now they have my attention. I glance at Sasha as she adjusts the seat and the mirror.

Me:Bring on plan B

With any luck, B stands for baby. There’s no way I can let her go.

Or maybe I have to. She has a say. I still can’t wrap my brain around the possibility that this sweet young thing bought us in an auction to use us for our dicks…and our tongues and fingers and, well, for her personal pleasure.

No, I can’t accept that, and not just because I’m old-fashioned. I know what I felt between us, and what I saw in her eyes.

I don’t know what she’s hiding behind, or why, but Plan B will be to break those walls down and show her how much we love her.

IsendWingeratext:Give her a head start, then meet us at Sugar D parking lot if you can’t imagine life without her

A second later, a text comes back from Winger:On my way

Tank and I watch the road for her little red Versa. Luckily, we’re able to park our bikes behind a minivan in the parking lot so she doesn’t notice us. Once she passes, we rev our engines and roll our bikes toward the street.

Winger’s getting close and falls in with us as we pull onto the road a safe distance behind her.

Sasha mentioned that she lives near the school, so we don’t waste any time. Per our plan, I stop beside her at a stoplight.

She worries her lower lip, stirring so many memories of the night before, then startles when she looks to the side and sees me.

We lock eyes and I’m certain she feels the way we do. I motion for her to roll her window down but she doesn’t.

When she and Winger left, I came clean with Tank, and he had the same thought as me. We need her. Neither of us is going to settle for breakfast. We need the whole buffet, the full menu, the drive-thru, and the special Sunday brunch. We want it all.

She glances from me to the light and I can tell she’s checking her mirrors, but all she’s going to see behind her are Tank and Winger. We’re the only ones out on this snowy day.

I motion again and she lowers the window.

“What are you doing here?” she asks.

“We can’t let you leave.”

“Why not?”

“Because none of us were joking about our intentions last night. Babies. Forever. We were all too chicken to say it, but I love you. Winger loves you. Tank loves you. And not to be cocky, but we’re pretty sure you love us back.”

She giggles nervously and puts her hand over her mouth. “You can’t know that after one night.”

“Well, see, that’s where you’re wrong, Sasha. We can, and we do. So I’ve got one question for you.”

“I’m not sure I’m ready to say that I… I mean, I think I do, but it’s so hard to believe.”

“I’m not asking you to say that you love us. Take all the time you need.”
