I'll help ease his pain, but he needs to be around an Alpha and soon, Aykiz gets some rags and cool him off while I work my magic’’. Kyique closed his eyes, when he opened them, they were indigo blue. As soon as Kyique turned his hands over a blue color mist coated Zadkeil and disappeared. Z breathing evened out, He opened his eyes, looking right at me.
“Oh, my goodness Z, your eyes are wicked. Zedkeil eyes were glacier blue with black swirls and locked in on me. “Zedkeil you're awake? Um Z, ‘’why are you looking at me like that? It's kind of creepy.”
Z blinked and his eyes were back to being a normal blue. In a whispered breath Zedkiel reached out to me, pulling my hand towards his face. “Aykiz!”
I looked over at all the guards and my brother with hope someone would make my bestie better, when teeth clamped down on my hand, yelling out and jumping back, holding my hand to my chest,
“What the hell Z. why did you do that?”
Z eyes were glacier blue again. He didn’t move but laid, eyes locked with mine. The way Z looked 10 minutes ago wouldn't think he had the strength to hold his head up let alone bite me. Zedkiel eyes closed, sleep claiming him once again.
‘’He has claimed you Princess, whispered Hawkley.
‘’Claimed me, what does that mean?”
‘’Your pack!” you are Zedkeil family, makes the reason why his wolf would claim you as family too.”
Drayce pulled me away from Zadkiel walking me to the living room. It was a wide-open space so I could still see Z and the mages doing their work to keep Z calm and ready to travel. The Kyique eyes would turn different colors from a fiery blue to blazing orange. Drayce called out to “Kyique; Kalypso get Zedkeil ready to travel.” Walking out while my best friend's life was changing hurt like hell, there wasn't anything we could do.
“Let me look at your hand my lady,” Arkyn held my hand examining it with care. Come sit here so I can clean you up.”
“How come I haven't turned into a wolf yet? I've been bitten twice now.”
It seems you are immune to it my lady. The wolf's venom has no effect on you. As to why you’re not sick or in more pain is beyond me but I will investigate it.” Arkyn replied with a thoughtful look.
“We will have to split up,” Drayce added.
“I’m not splitting up from Z,” Drayce.
“You have too Aykiz; we must continue with our mission and Zedkeil needs to heal. When he is better, I'll get you to him myself.”
Where will he go? All the wolves are evil.”
Not all my lady, corrected Hawkley.
“There are some packs that are not loyal to Morana or Zelos. I know an Alpha that would help.” Who? Demanded Drayce.

This explains why Zedkeil has fared so well, he’s had another wolf by him. I don't think he would have lasted this long if he didn’t, Affirmed Drayce.
