“What? No!” Hana shrieked after being denied. She wasn’t used to that. I was certain of it.

“We aren’t even going to fuck you tonight,” I snapped.

Hana gasped. “Why not?” She swung her head back a bit to get her hair out of her face.

“Because,” I started, but Joseph interjected.

“You haven’t been acting right and don’t deserve our cocks,” he finished.

I glanced over and saw his erection was throbbing. I was typically a receiver orally, not a giver. The only person I’d ever given oral to was Hana. So, why did I want Joseph’s cock in my mouth? Fuck, I wanted to lick up his cream and make him scream my name. I shook my head, trying to clear away these thoughts. We were here for Hana, nothing more, nothing less.

“Then, what are we going to do? Talk?” Hana snapped.

“That sounds like a brilliant idea.” Joseph shot me a dark look.

I pushed Joseph away from Hana and he fell backwards onto the bed. He was lying right beside her, and I couldn’t help thinking they made a beautiful picture. Two slutty wantons waiting for my cock. I ached to fuck them both, but we weren’t there yet. We needed to get to the bottom of Hana’s unhappiness.

I picked Hana up and draped her over my lap, face down while Joseph watched. “We need to know what’s going on in that beautiful head of yours, little Hana.” I murmured.

She laid still again. Not wiggling or trying to entice us. It was like her instincts told her she was in danger.

“I want to know why you're pushing everyone away and don’t lie to me.” I commanded. In my mind this wasn’t a difficult question, but Hana hesitated. If she had gone to group therapy like Joseph suggested, maybe she would have worked on these issues already.

“I don’t know,” she mumbled, hiding her face so I couldn’t see her lie. But the fact was, I could hear it. Her voice shook. Her skin turned red on her arms, up her chest, and her face.

Whap!I swung my hand downward and collided with her cheek. “That’s one lie, try again.”

“B-because-” she hesitated.

Smack!I hit a little harder, hoping it would garner a better response. Hana shied away, but Joseph held her steady.

“I can’t—,” she breathed out a shaky breath. “I can’t because I’m a failure,” she cried. A sob bubbling up from her throat.

Joseph and I shared a look of disbelief. I knew Hana would crack easily, but this wasn’t the answer I thought I would get. She thought she was a failure? What the fuck?

Chapter Eleven

Joseph

I’d been so angry before Logan’s call. He’d hurt me deeply, and when my phone rang, I almost hadn’t answered it. Now, standing here with my dick out watching the woman I secretly loved deeper than a friend sobbing her eyes out, I knew I made the right choice. Hana needed me. Logan was a wild card, and he needed someone with a firm hand to tame him.

My mother always used to say to watch out for the quiet ones. What she didn’t realize was that I was one of them. I now watch, lurk really, and plan until things come together seamlessly. Logan, like Luke, thought he was in charge of this situation, but he wasn’t.

Logan rubbed his neck like he could feel my eyes boring holes into it. He’d get his soon, but first Hana.

“What do you mean you’re a failure, Hana?” I asked.

Now wasn't the time for endearments. Now wasn't the time for play. We’d finally broken her. It was time to figure out what bothered her so we could get her smile back. No, it wouldn’t erase the painful year she’d been through, but it would give me hope that we could all make it out of this particular situation unscathed.

Logan sat Hana up slowly. She blew out a shaky breath. “I failed the one thing I was supposed to do.”

“What was that, my little Hana?” Logan murmured, climbing onto the bed behind her and wrapping his arms around her stomach.

Hana placed her hands on top of his and laid her head on his shoulder. It was then I felt like I was intruding. I stepped back. “I better—”

Hana stopped me by reaching her hands out. I couldn’t deny her. I grabbed hold and she pulled me towards the bed with Logan holding her tighter so she wouldn’t fall.

“No, if I’m going to talk about this. It needs to be with both of you,” Hana said.
