“Okay, sure, madam. Enjoy the rest of your evening.”

They took the lift to the top floor and went to their cabin suite. But once again Aarav made her wait outside until he checked and gave clearance.

She still thought it was unnecessary, but she didn’t argue with him. Her mind was on other things. Things like the upcoming night.

It would be their first night together after she proposed an affair.

“What do you want to order for dinner?” he asked.

“Just salad.”

He entered the details on the suite’s smart pad.

“Drink?” he asked.

She was tempted to ask him to open the bottle of champagne kept in the living room. It would relax her nerves for the upcoming night. But she also wanted to be completely sober that night.

“Nothing. Just water.”

Placing the order, he asked her to freshen up.

Her heart thudded hard in anticipation for that night. It was the first night they would be spending together after she had proposed an affair.

Even though Aarav had given her two mind blowing orgasms since the morning, it still felt incomplete without the complete act. If anything, her hunger only grew and she desperately wanted him in every way.

She took a long shower, washed her hair twice and scrubbed thoroughly before drying her body and applying a liberal amount of scented moisturizer. She felt a little embarrassed because she had never gone through so much effort before.

She chose a lavender colored silk night dress. Her cheeks heated because she deliberately chose not to wear any undergarments. But she put on a robe for dinner.

By the time she stepped out, Aarav was already on the balcony.

Sanjay was setting up the table.

“Enjoy your dinner, Mr. and Mrs. Rathod,” Sanjay said as he held the empty food trolley.

“Thank you so much, Sanjay,” she said. “Goodnight.”

There was a soft click as Sanjay left the cabin suite.

It felt strange having a quiet dinner together in the cabin suite. Unlike breakfast, dinner felt cozy and intimate, especially because Sanjay lit candles and put fresh flowers in a crystal vase as part of the table decoration. And the clear sky above was lit with millions of stars that added to the beauty.

Her stomach fluttered in both nervousness and anticipation. Aarav was watching her while holding a glass of whiskey. His fingers tightened around the glass.

Is he nervous too?

She didn’t think Aarav was the kind to be nervous. He had always been very self-assured and confident, which was one of the things that had drawn her towards him.

The dinner was quiet. Her salad was light and delicious. She noticed that Aarav wasn’t eating much either. But he had another peg of whiskey.

By the time dinner was over, she wished she had ordered a drink too for calming her nerves.

“I’ll be inside,” she murmured, getting up and going to the room first.

Oh God. This is ridiculous.

Aarav was the guy she had given her virginity to. She and he had been together a lot of times in the past. And yet, she felt as though she was a nervous virgin bride about to spend her first night with her husband.

Brushing her teeth, combing her hair for the dozenth time, she shed her robe and went back to the bedroom to wait for Aarav to join her.
