“Come for me, Mama,” he snarls, his hands tightening on my hips. His thrusts are harder, faster, and more brutal than before.

I shatter. I come undone. I cry out his name as I throw my head back in pleasure.

He thrusts once more inside of me, burying himself to the hilt before his cock pulses and he unloads stream after stream of cum inside of me.

Chapter 20

Alessio

Two weeks later

Igrit my teeth as I look around the charred remains of what was once Granny Jones. The restaurant is owned by the Irish Mafia. It was the most popular hangout for the men in the Clann. Now it’s burnt to the ground.

It’s been two weeks since I had to leave Indianapolis; leave behind my son and woman. But thankfully, Gabby understands that I have to work and is always available whenever I call. She’s been fucking amazing throughout the shit storm that brought me back to New York.

The apartment complex Dante owns was the first of our properties to go up in flames, along with three of our men. While we were on the plane arriving home, another property that belongs to us was also set alight. The fuckers were really trying to get our attention, and it worked. However, we’ve yet to uncover who the bastard behind it all was. Our men managed to track down the assholes who set the fires—both of whom were tortured for information and died without giving up whoseorders they were under. Every Famiglia and Clann member is working to find out what cunt did this.

“Ales,” Dante calls out.

I turn and see he’s standing with my sister-in-law and brother. I grit my teeth. Fuck. I haven’t spoken to any of them other than Dante since they were in Gabriella’s house. I don’t have any intent on doing so either. The way they treated both Gabriella and Anthony is not something I’m willing to sweep under the carpet.

“I want all the security footage from the surrounding buildings,” Makenna starts barking orders.

I look at my brother, the only one I have spoken to in the past two weeks, and that’s only because he’s my boss. “What do you need from me, boss?”

My sister-in-law’s eyes flash with anger at the blatant disrespect.

“Ales,” Dante says sharply. “Want to watch—”

“I’ll do it. I’ll call Finn and fill him in also,” Romero says, his gaze solely on me.

He’s called about a hundred times since we got back from Indianapolis. He’s even had his wife call me. I don’t pick up. They have nothing I want to hear. And if I were to pick up, they wouldn’t like what I have to say. He’s not the only one who’s called. Dante and Makenna have also, but unlike Rome, Holly, and Makenna, when the boss calls, you have to answer. Any time he wants to talk about anything other than Famiglia business, I end the call. You can’t disrespect the boss.

“Ales,” Makenna says quietly as members of the Clann start to sift through the rubble, trying to find survivors. “We can’t go on like this.”

“Makenna,” I hiss. “Right now, I have shit to do, and then I’m going to see my son and woman,” I say through clenched teeth. I turn to my brother. “Unless you have a problem with that?”

“Alessio,” Dante growls as he steps to me. “This shit stops now. She was just looking out for you.”

“No, she was looking out for herself,” I snap. Knowing Makenna has trouble accepting new people to the family, and having Gabriella part of it now, adds someone she’ll have to trust, and that’s something that doesn’t come easy for her. “Because of her unwillingness to be able to see past her own insecurities, she almost cost me my woman and child.”

“Ales—” Rome urges, his voice filled with worry and caution.

“She did the DNA test,” I tell them, something they had no idea about. “Anthony’s my child, something you’d have known had you actually taken the time to look at him.”

Their faces go slack with the announcement.

“Fuck,” Romero growls. “You’ve got to understand—”

I shake my head. “I don’t have to understand anything. You knew, Rome, and you fucked up. Now,” I say, looking back at Dante, “do you need anything from me?”

“Tomorrow, there’ll be a meeting,” he tells me. “I need you at my side.”

I nod. “I’ll be there. Anything else?”

“There’s nothing we can do here but wait. With Rome and Finn looking for the security footage, it could take all night. Go get Gabby and Anthony,” he tells me.

His tune has changed. I guess finding out you have a nephew will do that.
