“Much better than okay.” Her sharp nails dig into my shoulders. “You better not stop.”

“I couldn’t stop if I wanted to.” My fierce little rebel takes everything I have to give. Way the fuck before I’m ready for this to end, I feel tingling at the base of my spine and know I won’t be able to hold off my orgasm any longer. I rub hard circles on her sensitive little clit, and within seconds, her silky walls contract around my shaft as she bites down on my shoulder. Hard. Her sharp teeth dig into my skin, dragging an explosive orgasm from me.

“You’re mine,” I admit before catching her gasp in my mouth as I cover her lips with mine. Her inner muscles continue fluttering around my dick, and I can’t bear to separate our bodies. Carefully, I roll us over still connected.

Autumn places her chin on my chest and stares into my eyes. “It goes both ways,” she huffs out. “You’re mine, too.”

“I’m glad we got that settled.” I snuggle her soft body close and stare at the ceiling as her breathing evens out. It took everything in me not to blurt out how much I love her, but a little voice in the back of my mind kept shouting that she isn’t ready. Holding back the words is getting harder each moment I spend with her.

“Where are we going?” Autumn glances over at me and asks for the millionth time since we left the hotel an hour ago.

I reach for her soft hand and bring it to my lips. “You’ll see.” All the research I’ve been doing has taught me one thing about my girl; she isn’t impressed by wealth. At all. Knowing I’m out of my depth, and wanting to make this weekend perfect, I tucked my tail between my legs and asked the three stooges for help. After all, they know the area much better than I do.

Playboy made me work for his assistance but ended up giving me several ideas that would interest his sister. I finally decided to take her to a local art festival that features upcoming artists from the area.

“I want to know now.” My little rebel is deficient in patience.

“You’ll know soon enough.” Honestly, I planned to tell her before now, but I’m having too much fun messing with her.

Her eyes light up when I pull up and park on a one-way street behind the park. “Is there a festival this weekend?” She rubs her hands together and fidgets in her seat.

“The art fair.” I cave in. What can I say? My girl has me wrapped around her little finger.

“How did you know?” I want to pound my fist into a wall when I realize my girl isn’t used to having someone pay attention to her feelings. Fuck that. I’m going to make sure she never feels like her opinion doesn’t matter. Making her happy is my most important goal from now on.

I let Autumn set the pace as we wander through the stalls. This art show features art in all price ranges. “That is ugly,” I grumble, staring at the painting of blood and guts in front of us. At least, I think it’s something from an autopsy. It’s hard to tell from all the red and flesh-colored splotches dotting the canvas.

“It isn’t.” Autumn frowns while staring at the painting a little while longer. “I take that back.” She finally admits, “It’s god awful,” then turns her pleading eyes up to me. “We should buy it to help the artist out.” Fuck my life. By the time we leave at the end of the day, I'm the owner of several butt-ugly pieces of art that no one else would want. What can I say? I can’t refuse my soft-hearted little rebel.

After loading all of our purchases into the back of my SUV, I help Autumn into the vehicle and notice her wince. My heart squeezes in my chest at the thought of her hurting. “What’s wrong?”

“I’m a little stiff from our workout last night.” She leans over and kisses my cheek as I hook her seatbelt. “I don’t think we’ll be able to have a repeat performance until I have a few days to recover.”

“I wouldn’t do anything to hurt you,” I reassure her before rushing around and hopping into the driver’s seat. “We can find other ways to occupy ourselves until you’re back to fighting form.”

“I like the way you think,” Autumn tells me. Throughout the day, I’ve felt the air changing between us, and I’m optimistically hopeful that my girl is learning to trust me. Once I have her full trust, I plan to work on earning her love.

That night, we watch movies in our hotel suite while I give my little rebel a back rub. “Oh, boy.” She sighs as I knead the tight muscles in her lower back. “That feels so good.” I ignore my rock-hard cock and concentrate on my girl.

By the time we call it a night, I’m ready to drive nails into a board with my cock, but I ignore the fucker and pull her soft body against my side. “Goodnight, Trouble.” I’m unable to stop myself from teasing her.

“Goodnight, honey bunny.” She snuggles close.

“Honey bunny?” I lift my head and frown.

“I can’t call you caveman anymore.” She shrugs. “You’re too freaking sweet.”

My plan to win her heart is working, but I’m not sure about the nickname. “As long as it stays our little secret.” I laugh. God. The three stooges would have a field day if they knew Autumn calls me honey bunny. My street cred would be totally ruined, and I’d never hear the end of it.

CHAPTERSEVEN

AUTUMN

“Please?” I whisper, stroking my hand along Zane’s erection as hot water pours down over us in the shower. “Pretty please, Zane?”

“Autumn,” he growls, writhing under my touch. “Stop fucking teasing me, little rebel.”
