My chin drops at her words and the knowing glint in her eyes.

Jesus Christ, even Rhea knows what happened in that fitting room.

“Y-you were—”

“Yep, right outside the shop,” she confirms with a smirk. “Poor Nico was like a bear with a sore head after that. You really left him high and dry, huh?”

“Rhea,” Calli snaps.

“What? I’m fifteen, not five. I know exactly what was going down behind that curtain. I was pretty jealous, too,” she confesses. “Ew, wait… that came out all kinds of wrong. I don’t want my cousin. He’s gross. I just meant—”

“Please, stop talking,” Calli begs while Stella and Emmie barely hold back their laughter.

“You should have been hanging out with us before now,” Stella announces happily.

“I don’t disagree,” Emmie says, “But Theo will kill us for corrupting his little sister.”

Rhea scoffs. “A little late for that. Now, is anyone going to get me a drink? And do we have any weed on the go?”

“What the actual fuck?” Theo barks the second we pile into Toby’s flat, where we know the girls are all hanging out.

We weren’t expecting to find them partying… with Rhea right in the centre of their gyrating huddle.

“Oh hey, Bro. How’s it going?” she asks innocently as everyone else, including his wife, pointedly ignores his approach.

Alex snorts a laugh beside me as Toby mutters, “Oh shit. I’m glad I’m not any of them right now.”

“Turn the fucking music off, Doukas,” he booms, correctly guessing who’s in charge of this little party.

With a dramatic, you’re-a-serious-fucking-party-pooper eye roll, Stella makes a show of pulling her phone from her bra and kills the music.

“You need some help there, princess?” Seb asks, surging forward for his girl.

All of them are drunk, that is more than obvious, and after studying Brianna for a few seconds while she looks anywhere but at me, my eyes find my sister.

“You’d better not be fucking drinking,” I bark.

“What the fuck, arsehole? Who are you to tell Calli what she can or can’t do?” Emmie slurs, clearly as far gone as Stella right now.

“We don’t have time for this bullshit,” Daemon barks, magically appearing at the most opportune moment. “We need to move. All of you, go and get fucking dressed,” he orders, much to Theo’s irritation.

“Who the fuck put you in charge?”

“Jesus Christ,” Alex mutters. “D’s right, we don’t have time for this.” Ripping his eyes from our fearless leader, he scans the girls. “You all need to sober up and pack a bag. You’re having a night away.”

“What?” Stella blurts before her eyes narrow suspiciously. “Why?”

“Consider it a treat on us.”

Stella, Emmie, Calli, and Jodie all turn to us, standing shoulder to shoulder and looking fierce as fuck.

“Good fucking luck,” I mutter, walking toward Alex so we can watch the show from the sidelines.

This whole thing might have been my influence, but like fuck am I getting in the middle of it.
