Dom slides out of me and sets me down on the tiled shower floor. "I didn'tnamemy suit. That’s the designer.”

“Oh.” I laugh. “That makes more sense.” I step into the water that still runs warm and wonder how fancy their hot water tank must be for it to not have lost its heat.

“Don’t worry.” Dom rinses himself off for what might actually be the final time. Each other instance led to us having sex again. “I had something flown in for you.”

I raise a brow at him. “What does that even mean?”

He kisses me before stepping out of the shower and leaving me to finish up in privacy. “It means that I think of everything.”

I turn off the faucet and I’m welcomed by my strong man holding out a towel waiting for me. He rubs it over my body to soak up the droplets littering my skin and then wraps it around me.

“I brought a dress with me,” I tell him.

“Yeah, but you needed a new one.”

“I only wore the other one once.”

“Then it’s old.” Dom cups my chin in his hand. “You deserve the best of the best. Let me spoil you.”

And spoil me he does. All of the guys do—even Simon. I haven’t paid for anything—other than an occasional meal I’ve had to sneak to pay for—since I stepped into their lives. But they learned about my sneaky nature and started taking care of the tab almost immediately and ridding me of any chance to use the money I actually earn. It isn’t much, but it’smine. About a week after the council incident, Dom strolled into my bedroom and placed a black American Express card on my nightstand. Told me that when I was better, I could buy whatever I wanted, and insisted that any of my purchases either be made with that or the cash they give me, if they haven’t already taken care of it themselves.

Not only do they insist on paying, but they ensure I have top shelf, the newest, and the highest quality, no matter what it is.

They have access to anything I could possibly want, but at the end of the day, the only thing that really matters to me is them. And that’s been the hardest thing for me to get. Honestly, I think asking for a house in Spain might be an easier sell.

Dom leaves me in the bathroom to towel dry my hair and apply some lotion. I follow him into the main room a few minutes later to find him buttoning up his shirt. My gaze flits from him to the long dress dangling from a hanger in the open closet across the way.

“What do you think?” Dom asks me.

I slowly walk toward it and gawk at how fucking gorgeous it is. Every other dress I own is beautiful in its own way, but this is so pretty it makes my heart hurt.

“I sent your measurements off a while back to have a bespoke Givenchy made, but I called in some favors to have it expedited for tonight.”

“Dom.” I clasp my hand over my heart and turn toward him. “I love it.” My eyes glisten with the thoughtfulness of his gesture. He wanted this evening to be special, and damn if he didn’t pull it off. He might be massively fucking things up lately but he wouldn’t have gone through all of this trouble if we didn’t matter to him. If I didn’t matter to him.

“Fit for a queen.” Dominic tucks a strand of my wet hair behind my ear.

“I love you,” I tell him. Not because of the dress. Not because of this trip. But because he carved time out of his chaotic schedule to finally give me exactly what I wanted. What I needed.

What I think he needed, too.

And more importantly, he gave me something without even realizing it.

Hope.

Hope that we might actually make it out of this nightmare together.

MAGNUS

“So how was it?” I poke June in the side and tickle her.

She wiggles out from under me. “I am going to pee on your bed if you don’t stop.”

“Sounds kinky.” I continue to tease her.

“Magnus Bryant.” June slaps my arm. “Why do I not know your middle name?”
