He put his hands on Gillian’s face, her brown hair floating past her shoulders. He tipped her head up and looked into her eyes. “I can’t believe how much I missed you and thought of this on the way home.”

“The same here,” she said. “Does it feel crazy for it to be this strong so soon?”

“No,” he said. “I don’t think so. I’m just glad you feel the same way.”

“I do,” she said.

He lifted her shirt up and over her head, then reached for her bra and undid that and pulled it off. When her hands came out for his clothes, he brushed them aside and just continued to undress her.

He wanted to make love to her tonight. Something he hadn’t felt like he’d done yet.

They had a great sex life. They had fun. She was aggressive and he enjoyed it.

But tonight was going to be so much more.

He picked her up and put her on the bed, her eyes never leaving his while he took his clothes off too.

There were no sheets or comforter, just the mattress, but it didn’t matter. They could be on a rock floor and he wouldn’t feel anything other than the emotions and love he had for Gillian at this moment.

He started to kiss her slowly, his fingers in her hair holding her head in place.

Her mouth opened and his tongue slid in, a slow dance rather than a fast tango they did so often.

Her hips moved up into his and he pushed them back down, but her legs parted and he moved between them to rest, her grinding like she always did.

She wanted to move so fast and he would rather slow down for once.

“Rick, I can’t wait. Why is it I can never wait to be with you like this?”

“I don’t know,” he said. “But can’t we slow down for once?”

“We can slow down once you make me yours,” she said. “I’m on the pill. Don’t make me wait much longer.”

“If you’re sure,” he said.

“I am,” she said.

He shifted and found her opening, sliding right in. She groaned low in her throat, he did the same and went back to kissing her. His hands found hers, their fingers threading together, him holding them above her head.

It didn’t seem like she wanted to stick to the pace he was attempting to set no matter how hard he tried.

He was thrusting in and out of her slow and steady, but she lifted her legs and wrapped them around his waist trying to get even closer.

“I just need you so much,” she said.

“Not as much as I need you,” he said, his hips going faster. It was the words he’d been dying to hear. Things building inside of him he’d never felt and couldn’t wait for them to experience them together.

Her back was arching under his, her arms trapped by the headboard. She was moving faster than him and urging him on until he knew she was close and didn’t know why he was fighting it any longer.

The minute she started to come, he felt himself let go, her tongue thrusting into his mouth so that they were mimicking what the other parts of their body were doing.

They were both moving for a solid minute even after they were done, as if their bodies couldn’t get enough, until her hips stopped and his did too.

He rolled and pulled her on his chest, her head resting there. “Wow, that was nice,” she said.

“You always want to rush,” he said. “It’s nice to go slow for some things.”

“But not all things?” she asked.
