I say nothing but take a hefty sigh. “Was it the Boss-man that walked in? Did he upset you by coming in here? I will kill him if he did?” His voice is serious, and I know he would do it.Oh, my sweet but absolute wildcard Alexie.

I turn on my side and mimic his position before saying, “He didn’t upset me.”

“Phew,” he says with a dramatic swipe of his hand across his brow. “No killing him today. Plus, I love the look you get when you find out someone is watching you.” He leans forward slightly and gently presses his lips to the tip of my nose for a moment. “Then it must be something else that is bothering you…” he looks at me for just a moment. “Katia?”

I only nod back because I start feeling the pressure of tears building behind my eyes. How can I be so caught up in enjoying my life and even think of having moments of absolute pleasure when God only knows what Katia is going through? It makes me feel nauseated.

“Do not worry, my love.” He places his hand on my arm and starts to gently stroke up and down, promising, “We will find her. Then we will destroy everyone that took her.”

I know immediately that not enough time has passed as my eyes struggle to open. When I finally force them open, it is still dark outside. My body is unable to move due to Alexie being wrapped around me like a damn python with its prey in its grasp while snoring softly in my ear. We fell asleep talking about Katia and all the crazy shit we used to get into.

Alexie said something that stuck with me, though. He told me that Katia would not want me to give up being happy. He said she would probably slap the shit out of me if I became a Debbie Downer while she was gone. He’s right, she was always thinking of others and was the one who told me I was being stupid for holding back on moving forward with Alexie when we were teenagers. She would want me to be happy, but she would also want me to find her.And I will.

I try to wriggle away from Alexie because we are leaving shortly, and I want to get cleaned up. As I move, Alexie’s hold becomes tighter, and he presses his lips against my ear. “Where do you think you’re going?” he whispers.

My body instinctively leans back into his tightening embrace, feeling his hardness pressing against me, while refusing to let me go. “I need to get ready for our flight, and I have to pee.”

He finally releases me, and I sit up on the edge of the bed. When I stand, he grips my wrist and yanks me back toward him. I’m practically laying on top of him with our faces close together. He leans forward, pressing his lips to mine and forcing my lips apart with his tongue. His tongue entwines with mine, but then he pulls back to ask, “Did you think you were leaving without a good morning kiss?”

His smile is bright, and he presses his hands against my shoulders, pushing me slightly backward to help me back to a standing position. “This house is awfully quiet,” he whispers. “Maybe you should wake up each of your men.”

I still have concerns about how Alexie feels about our new arrangement. He says he is fine with it, but maybe he thought it was only temporary or something to try out and then move on. It would be great if I could just read his mind. Scratch that! That’s a terrible idea, and I’d probably need a shrink after a few minutes in that head of his.

“Alexie, tell me how you feel about the others.”

He sits up in bed, gaining a contemplative look on his face. “I do love Rainbow Sparkle, she is witty and so bright. Then there is the Keeper of Grudges, she is fiery and–”

I interrupt him, “No, I mean Conrad, King, and Stryker. After we get Katia and all this is over, I want to make sure we’re clear on what happens with them.”

“We stay. Isn’t that what you want?” he questions warily.

“It is, but what do you want? If you are not okay with me being with them, then we need to talk about that,” I urge, concern filling me up.

“Did something happen to make you think this?” he asks as he tilts his head and narrows his eyes.

“No,” I reply. “I’m just worried that eventually, you’re not going to be okay with…sharing.”

He stands from the bed and walks towards me. Now looking down at me, he says, “I will not lie. Before I left, this is not an arrangement I would have accepted. Now, after seeing how happy they all make you, I could not imagine taking that away from you. As much as this is painful to say, they also make me happy.”

My cheeks strain to contain the large smile on my face. Alexie leans down and plants a soft kiss on my forehead.

“Also, seeing how these men treat you when they are giving you pleasure makes me want to join in. I am a part of the team now, am I not?” He lets out a laugh with the last question, and I can’t help but snuggle my face into his chest, laughing alongside him.

I pick up my head to look at him, “Thank you, Alexie. I love you so much.”

He plants another kiss on my lips but steps back too soon. “Now, go wake up your men. I’ll take a shower and get the coffee started downstairs.” My eyes widen at him for the attempt he is making to be a part of this team by getting the coffee going for everyone. He just points at himself with his two thumbs, “Team player now, remember?” He turns and walks out of the bedroom to go take a shower.

I do like the idea of waking each of them up. This could be fun. Insert evil laugh here.

Looking around the room quickly, I have no idea where my clothes went. Knowing Alexie, he probably stashed them somewhere to force me to be naked longer.Typical.

Fuck it, they’ve all seen me naked at this point.

I leave the room and head to mine and King’s first. When I enter, he’s lying on his stomach, stretched out completely, and taking up the entire bed. The sun has started to rise, and I can see it peaking through the crack in the curtain. The way his head is facing, he’s looking directly at the window. I walk over to the curtains and pull them back quickly, bathing him in the bright light.

He wiggles around and moves his head as the sun shines on his face. I move to stand directly in front of the window, just enough to block the sun from his eyes. “Wake up, sleepyhead,” I say to him with a little too much pep in my voice.

A loud groan is all that escapes him, so I move over, and the sun spills onto his face again. “What the hell, Luci?” he groans.
