“So bossy.”

“C’mon, Leah.”

“What, are you afraid of the dark? You need me to check for monsters in your closet, under your bed?”

“I promise to say more math words if you stay.” He searched his memory for high school geometry lessons. “Parallel, quadrilateral…”

“Oh…” Leah straddled him. “What else?”

“Trapezoid… congruent…”

She let loose a long sigh as she rose to her knees and teased the tip of his dick with her burning heat. “More.”

He grabbed her hips and thrust into her, making her mouth drop open and her eyes close as her head swayed back. “Isosceles.”

“Oh, God… my favorite triangle…”

She rocked on top of him until they were both at the precipice again and staring down at the freefall awaiting them. When she sunk a little deeper onto his length and wiggled in a circular motion, he jumped over the edge with her pulsing around him.

They made so much noise that Ginger barked in the kitchen, but that didn’t stop him from ending with a rollercoaster-worthy hoot.

Leah collapsed on top of him, all her curves filling his hands as he skimmed them over her naked body. “Perpendicular is king.”

Laughing, he pulled the flannel blanket from the back of the couch and draped it over them. “I never knew math could be so damn sexy.”

“Me either. How am I supposed to teach any of those words to my class now? I’ll be blushing like wild, thinking about you.”

“Ahh… my master plan to make you think about me constantly is falling into place nicely.”

“Diabolical.”

“I prefer the title Mad Genius.”

She maneuvered to his side and pulled the blanket up to her shoulders. “Is one supposed to get cozy with a mad genius?”

“Yes, definitely.”

“Just checking.”

Dakota lifted his head slightly to look at her. All he could see was the top of her head and all that blonde hair sprawled over her shoulders. “Could you honestly get dressed and leave right now?” He couldn’t. No way. His limbs were like liquid and he wanted nothing more than to hold her as they drifted off to sleep.

When she didn’t answer right away, he shifted a little to see her face. Her eyes were closed and her breathing was in that smooth rhythm of sleep.

“I thought so,” he whispered, feeling as if he’d won a small victory by getting to keep her tonight.

What would it take to keep her even longer?

Chapter Fifteen

Her fingers were wet.

Leah forced her eyes open and met the brown-eyed stare of Ginger. The dog puffed out a breath without barking, her tail swishing on the wood floor of Dakota’s living room.

Dakota’s living room.

Ah, yes. Currently, Leah was using Dakota as a mattress. Not usually a fan of hard, firm mattresses, this one changed all the rules for her. His body was warm against hers, his arms in a protective circle around her body. After a quick glance around, she realized she was in the exact position she’d been in when she’d fallen asleep last night. That wasn’t like her at all. She usually tossed and turned, trying out every available square foot of her bed.

There, with Dakota, however, she’d had a peaceful night’s sleep, as she’d had the last time she’d slept over. Why was this guy so magical? He’d drawn her in when she’d sworn off relationships. He’d gotten her to engage in and enjoy geometrical dirty talk when she’d never believed in dirty talk… or that geometry could be so sensual. He’d gotten her to stay overnight. Twice. With Chase, it had taken four months of dating before she’d agreed to spend the night at his place. Dakota had achieved the task in less than fourdates.
