“Derrick…” Ellie’s breath hitched. “We could be found. Someone might see us.”

“Not with the windows covered. And we’re still moving, so we won’t be found.” Derrick nipped at her lower lip. “Besides, how can I resist when we need to get that dress off you anyway?”

“We should have waited until we got home!”

“You think we could have waited?” Derrick chuckled as Ellie rubbed against his cock again. “Do you want to wait?”

Ellie groaned and grabbed his head.

“You are impossible,” she hissed, and then kissed him hard.

It took a bit of movement to get Ellie’s drawers onto one thigh and get Derrick’s breeches undone to release himself. But the feeling of Ellie taking him inside her with one swift thrust made Derrick feel like he was back in heaven. Ellie’s moans were louder than his as they rocked together, mostly using the motion of the carriage.

Derrick found himself slipping down until he was lying on the seat, Ellie straddling him. She planted her feet on the floor and usedthem to push up and ride him, her fingers clawing at his chest as she threw her head back. Derrick reached up and clasped her breasts, lifting his hips to meet hers.

The angle when the seat was only against his upper back and his knees were pressed into the seat opposite was a little awkward, but Derrick wasn’t about to stop. Not when it felt this good.

His climax hit him hard enough that Derrick was seeing stars, especially when Ellie let out a shriek their driver must have heard, slumping over him in a way that made Derrick’s body give way. They ended up on the floor, Derrick gasping as Ellie’s weight came down on him.

“Oh, God!” Ellie started to scramble up. “I didn’t—”

“Don’t you dare go anywhere.” Derrick grabbed her and held her close. “You’re not leaving.”

“But aren’t you getting squashed?”

He was, but he didn’t care. Derrick wrapped his arms around his wife, running his hands under her shift and up her back. Even in the uncomfortable position, it felt good. He pressed a kiss to her breastbone through the silk.

“Derrick?”

“Yes?”

“What are we going to say when we get home? How are we going to explain my current state?” Ellie shifted back and frowned at him. “I can’t exactly wear my dress anymore.”

Derrick chuckled. “I suppose not. I’ll give you my coat. You can wear that.”

“What about the dress?”

“I’ll think of something. But we’ve got a bit of time before we get back.” He drew her down and kissed her. “We don’t need to think about that just yet.”

“But…”

Derrick silenced her with another kiss. That was always good at easing her doubts. And it gave him an excuse to keep kissing her.

Chapter 19

“I think I need a moment!” Dorothea gasped as she reached Ellie’s side. She was breathing heavily, her cheeks flushed. “That’s far too much dancing.”

Ellie laughed. “You didn’t appear to be complaining a short while ago. In fact, you seemed happy to do it.”

“I was until my feet started to hurt. I do need a moment to breathe before I go back again.” Dorothea checked her hair, making sure it was still in order. “I know I’m putting off my dance card, but I don’t want to be limping tomorrow.”

“I’m sure nobody will notice.”

Dorothea rolled her eyes. “Trust me, everyone will notice. I’m going to go and sit down in the dining hall for a bit.”

“But what about your dances?”

“I know it’s not appropriate to ignore my other dances, but I’ll make a fool of myself if I don’t rest.” Dorothea squeezed her sister’s arm. “I’ll be fine. You look out for Regina.”
