“Right.” I know better than to argue withbebia. She can talk circles around me better than any politician.

Turning on my heel, I return to Abi, the only place I want to be right now.

Zakar

Like two sentries, Val and I stand with Abilene as she remains in the same spot Levan left her in. She hasn’t moved, nor has she said a word. Her eyes remain glued to the hallway he walked down with Seery. All of us missed whatever happened in that room, but from the way Levan backstepped before leaving and came to lay a claiming kiss on her, I think he knows.

Val and I have exchanged multiple looks, each speaking volumes, and the one thing we’ve been able to agree on is to wait this out. Abilene has a history of sexual assault, and none of us know what her reaction to being with the three of us will be like, but I have a feeling we’re about to find out. Because if what I’m reading from her right now is what I think, jealousy is about to make an ugly appearance, and we’re all going to be on the losing end of it.

Standing taller as I hear Levan’s footsteps ascend the marble staircase, Abi crosses her arms, and anger brews behind her beautiful eyes. There’s about to be an explosion, and Val and I will be caught in the crossfire.

“What did you say to her?” Levan asks as he approaches Abi with measured steps.

“Nothing.” She raises her chin in provocation.

“Something. The doctor thinks you’re suicidal.” Val and I share another look before taking a stance next to our friend. If this is true, then there’s more going on than we suspect.

“Doyouthink that?” Her head tilts to the side with curiosity.

“Seery wants to commit you. Tonight.” The way they challenge each other at every turn has my dick dancing in my pants.

Abilene finally cracks. Dropping her arms, she takes a step forward, her eyes narrowing, and if not for the tears beginning to shine, I’d think she was a force to be reckoned with. “Are you going to? Commit me?”

“Do I need to?” Levan moves forward this time, crowding her back against the wall.

“Probably. Learning that I have the power to lay under water and not gasp for air or inhale a single breath, means I can do it again. And again. And again. Maybe one day, I’ll take it too far, and Zakar won’t be there to rescue me. To pull me from the depths of hell where my soul suffers at the hands of men who long to hurt me.” Spinning, she walks away before any of us can respond. She dropped a lot of bombshells there just now, and I can tell none of us were expecting a word she spat out.

“What the fuck,” Val mutters, glaring at Levan, who is staring after the hellcat who just dismantled his entire argument.

“I don’t think we need to worry about whether she’s strong enough to handle us anymore. I think we need to worry thatwearen’t equipped to handleher.” Following after Abilene, I am completely prepared for whatever she throws my way at this point.

Witnessing her go toe-to-toe with Levan—something some of the strongest men I’ve met won’t even do—is a big fucking turn-on. “Not right now, Zakar.” She’s shedding the housecoat and slipping her grungy clothes back on.

Ripping the pants out of her grasp, I shake my head. “Whatever the fuck you’re thinking right now, it’s not happening.” I earn her glare this time.

“I’m going home.” She holds out a hand for her pants.

“No, you’re not,” Levan snaps as he enters the room. Val closes the door quietly behind him. “You’re never leaving here again. Not without protection and an escort.”

Her eyes roll, and matching growls escape my friends. “Your disobedience is going to get you into shit,” I warn her as Val circles around her from behind.

“I’d very much like to get my hands on this ass,” Valerian whispers in her ear. The erotic threat straightens her spine, and her head turns to glance at him. A wicked gleam in his eyes makes her mouth hang open.

“I told you we needed to talk,” Levan says. “Perhaps, it’s action you need instead.” Tearing the front of his shirt open, buttons pop and fly across the room, one hitting me in the chest. “Strip her,” he demands. I’ve never been so excited to follow an order in my life.

“What do you think you’re doing?” she hisses but doesn’t try to protest as Val and I remove her clothes.

“Precisely what you want but are too afraid to ask for,” Lev answers as he removes his shirt entirely, sitting on the bench at the end of the bed, waiting for her.

“What do you want?” Her nipples are perky from arousal, and I can see the glistening of her pussy lips as she tries to hide it.

“Over his knee, sakhvarelo.” I nibble along her neck as I walk her forward. “Daddy Levan’s got something special for you.” He raises a brow at my use of the nickname, and I shrug. It felt right.

Her skin pebbles with sweat as she drapes across his lap. I believe she’s following directions out of wonder, but I can’t be certain. “Val, watch her face,” I instruct, standing back to observe.

“Not a fucking word out of you, Abi. Got it?” Lev’s harsh tone has her nodding. “Words.”
