Page 24 of Forgive My Sin

Someone securing my left hand catches my attention, and I twist to see Levan appearing far angrier than I’ve ever seen him; only the tenting in his pants indicates otherwise. “If you think you’re leaving this house in that scrap of fucking fabric, think again.” I feel him push a ring up my finger and glance down to find a stunning white gold, triple-band diamond ring on my finger. “The whole world will know you’re ours after tonight.”

Levan doesn’t hesitate to grip the back of my neck and slam his lips over mine as Val stands on my other side and Zak remains in front of me. Their hands are all over my body, and I feel like I’m on fire. My heart is tearing a hole in my chest as it pounds against my rib cage. Breathing is no longer an option, and the place between my thighs throbs with a need to be filled. To be taken by the three of them.

Despite our erotic encounters before, nothing compares to this one. Because now they’re laying claim to me, and tonight, I think we might just go all the way. The problem is, with three of them and only one of me, I have no idea how it will work, but I’m looking forward to it.

After we returned from church last night, Levan and Zakar were more pissed than I’ve ever seen them, and it all had to do with how Abilene was living. Not just in poverty but literally in the dirt. After they gave her the box of trinkets they retrieved from its burial spot, she disappeared for the night, and that’s when they explained what they’d seen. I wanted to go back and kill the remaining members of her family.

I was convinced to wait. To ensure that when we do take them out, the finger gets pointed elsewhere. Losing even a minute of time with Abilene is unacceptable and not something any of us are willing to risk. She is and always will be our number one priority.

After overseeing her sleep for a few hours last night, I calmed down.

Until this morning. When she was whisked away to get ready for this evening.

Now, she is the most stunning creature I’ve ever laid eyes on. But as she descended the stairs earlier, I agreed with Levan and didn’t want to let her out of the house. Especially after seeing her wearing my mother’s cuff—her engagement ring of sorts. My parents were never conventional, and that snake represented far more to either of them than anything else in their marriage. I’m not sure how Ana got her hands on it since it’s been in the safe in Levan’s office for years, but I suspect she knew the combination and understood precisely what it would mean to me to see Abi don it.

She wasn’t wrong.

It was a punch to the gut, reinforcing that I’ll never let her go. Not that I would have before. But tonight, we are solidifying our relationship with Abilene. Zak arranged for the penthouse suite in the same hotel as the event. As soon as we’ve all had at least one dance with her after dinner, we’re taking our leave and spending the evening imprinting on the woman of our dreams.

The limo pulls to a stop outside the hotel under the archway at the entrance, and I’m the first one out, reaching back in for Abilene’s hand as Zak exits on the other side, and Levan follows behind Abi. Wonder and amazement illuminate her eyes.

Snow falls in fluffy flakes around us as fairy lights dot the surrounding trees, making them appear magical. “Wow.” She smiles, and it steals my breath, forcing me to inhale again.

“Good evening, may I take your jackets?” someone asks from behind a counter in the spacious foyer.

“Could you have them brought up to our room?” Zak asks as he helps Abilene out of her coat.

We were right. Fuck, I hate it when we are. Especially now. As soon as she’s revealed, every discerning eye in the building lands on her. Zak clears his throat as Levan prepares to rip the employee’s tongue out of his mouth.

With the tip of my finger, I set Abilene’s attention on me and lay a kiss on her lips. Barely a touch but enough for a few people to look away.

“Yes, I can. What’s the reservation under?” asks the coat attendant.

“Zakar Joseph.”

The gentleman sits taller, avoiding eye contact with Abilene now. Zak is not known as a nice person in most circles. He tends to speak with his fists rather than his words, and it’s obvious the man has heard of him.

“They’ll be there before you are.” After handing us a ticket voucher, he moves on to the next guest.

“Told you you’d be turning heads,” Zak chuckles as he takes Abilene’s hand.

We’re given a table in the middle of the room with two other couples, and as we head that way, I notice Gladys and grin. She took an instant liking to Abilene, so I know our girl will quickly grow more comfortable throughout the night.

“Abi!” Gladys calls, excusing herself from her husband’s side to make her way to us. “Don’t you look stunning? What did I tell you?” She doesn’t let Abilene answer. “I told you they would lay at your feet, and I can see they’re ready to.” She winks at me and then scowls at Levan, still looking homicidal. “Levan Tsiklauri, if you don’t stop glaring at everyone and remove the murderous look from your face, this poor girl won’t enjoy her evening, and we both know you don’t want that.”

My friend glances from Gladys to Abilene and back to Zak and me before he visibly works to remove the death stare from his eyes. “Fine,” he grunts and leans down to steal a kiss from Abilene. It seems to be the only thing that calms him down. Which is surprising given how scantily she’s dressed.

“Come, come, dear, let’s get a drink, and I’ll introduce you to some of my clients. I’m positive there are a few you will get on with famously.” Gladys grips Abilene’s hand and gently pulls her along before any of us can protest and drag her back.

“I don’t like this,” Levan growls, switching back to thunderous again.

“What,” I snort. “Abilene meeting people? Maybe making friends.” If looks could kill, I’d most assuredly be six feet under.

“No. About how many people are here. Why did we think this was a good idea?” I shrug. “Where’s Zak?” I spot him by the bar, a few feet away from Abi and Gladys, and watch as he not so subtly follows them around the room, snarling at one introduction after another, but one thing remains clear. Gladys is respecting our unspoken wish of no men touching Abilene. With each introduction she makes, Gladys is quick to insert herself between Abi and any man who gets too close.
