I groaned. “He is a smart man, but he’s made this mistake more than once.”

A trio of beautiful women strode by us in evening gowns, their heels echoing on the marble floor.

Gunnar kissed me gently. “There’s nothing we can do about it tonight. Let’s try and enjoy the rest of the evening.”

I took a deep breath. If we were dropping bombshells, then I might as well keep going. “Gunnar. I found some weird payments in my father’s offshore account. For eighteen years, he sent ten thousand dollars a month to some woman in Minnesota.”

“Oh no.” Gunnar inhaled deeply. “You don’t have to tell me what that means.”

“Yeah.” I started to feel nauseous, even though I was well past the morning sickness phase of my pregnancy. “My father had a son with a woman from Minnesota.” I knew my father had a past as a womanizer, but this was next level. “I have a half brother. And so does Colton.”

Gunnar gave me a smile. “Maybe that’s not so bad.”

“Oh, it is.” I shook my head. “Gunnar. The woman’s name is Tracey Bradshaw. Her son’s name is William.”

“William Bradshaw?” Gunnar furrowed his brow. “Should that mean something to me?”

“The kid was named after my father. Do you know what the short form of William is?”

Gunnar rubbed his head. “Is this some kind of quiz? I don’t know.”

Looking around to make sure that there weren’t any prying eyes or listening ears, I held onto my fiancé’s shoulder and leaned in to whisper in his ear. “It’s Liam.”

Liam Bradshaw was my half brother.
