I’ll fucking show him who owns him.

And later that night, when he’s slightly buzzed from all the wine he drank, he falls onto our bed, his legs spread wide.

“Force me, Finn,” he says and I groan. “Make me your bitch.”

I don’t even hesitate. I just strip him down and enter him slowly. There’s no force needed. He’s loose and ready.

God, the feel of him surrounding me, tight and warm, the way he clutches onto me, how he takes me.

I’m so glad I waited. I’m so glad I waited for him. That he was my first. My only.

When we come, we come together, and then I pull him into me, breathing him in and just falling more and more in love. With each minute, with each day that passes, I love him more.

“I’m going to put a wedding ring on your cock,” he says and chuckles. “A nice gold one with diamonds.”

His mouth, his ridiculous mouth. I have loved it since the minute he said my name.

“I’m going to marry your penis.” He squirms against it, and I groan, my cock oversensitive and tired. But still, it twitches, ready for more. I will never, ever have enough of this man. My man.

“Fine, marry my dick, Landon,” I mutter and then shut him up with my tongue.

1 YEAR LATER

LANDON

Oh god,my lungs burn. But fuck, there it is, the finish line. I can see it in the distance.

“You’ve got this,” Finn says jogging next to me, looking much too sexy for someone who just ran thirteen miles.

I glance over at my man and manage a small smile.

We trained for this, for eight whole months. Ever since I was fitted for my new running prosthetic—a running blade—I’ve been running with Finn. We started at once a day and then moved to twice per day, running along the river near our apartment. It’s been an exhilarating adventure, this past year—moving in together, graduating college, getting our first jobs.

And here we are, running our first half-marathon.

Together.

“You’re going to carry me over the finish line,” I wheeze, and Finn bites down on his bottom lip.

He doesn’t even look out of breath. Fucker.

It’s a good thing I love him so much or else I’d be a little irritated at how much weaker than him I still am.

But I’m getting there. I’m getting stronger each time I hit the pavement. Getting used to moving fluidly with this prosthetic was something I had to master, and it took weeks, but I did it.

I did it.

And here we are.

About to finish this shit.

People pass us as we approach the finish line and I come to a stop and throw my arms out.

And Finn doesn’t even hesitate. He just sweeps me up in those arms I’m so obsessed with and brings me over the finish line.

My parents, Logan, and Theo are there, with signs of course, each looking ridiculously proud. My dad is sniffling, and Logan is swiping at his eyes.

I didn’t expect anything less to be honest. The only one still composed is Theo, and even he has a small smile on his face.

“We did it. You and me. We did it,” Finn says, not setting me down, just holding me as people move past us. My gaze moves to him, just basking in how wonderful he is, and how lucky I am that we found each other in this chaotic world. How we held on despite it all.

I reach up and cup the back of his head, tugging his mouth down to mine.

“I love you.”

He lets out a shuttered breath as if hearing those words wrecks him every time, and when our lips meet, he mutters,

“I loved you first.”
