Chapter 14
The day wasn’t a total waste for the cause, but when it came to spending quality time with my girlfriend, I sat at the losers’ table.
I need to make up somehow for the time spent apart, so the very next evening I decided to give Mouse a surprise and wait for her between the sheets of her bed.
‘Cole!’ She seemed surprised enough to see me there — the nice type of surprised.
‘Were you expecting someone else?’
‘I wasn’t expecting you, that’s for sure.’
I knew exactly what she was talking about. The guys and I might have been besties, but the competition for her time between us was real.
‘Do you want me to leave then?’ I was just messing with her.
‘I never said that. I just need to get changed.’ She rushed to the dressing room to slip into a white loose top and shorts.
Fuck, she looked good enough to eat. And maybe I was going to do just that.
‘You look so hot in those shorts,’ I uttered as she crawled into bed and then straight into my arms.
‘You think I look hot in anything,’ She smiled kissing the corner of my lips, slowly advancing to the curve of my neck.
‘That’s because you do. But I think you look even hotter without clothes,’ I was already searching for the bottom of her shirt so I could remove it.
‘Slow down a little,’ she said, rolling her eyes.
‘Why? Did you have sex with Brax?’
Don’t blame a man for being curious.
‘Jesus. You can’t ask me questions like that.’
I had no idea why she was acting like the offended one. Worse case scenario, that would be me.
‘Yes, I can.’ I gave her a comforting smile since I had no reason to be jealous.
Bea tried to avoid the subject by snatching herself from my arms, propping her body on her pillow, and just staring randomly at the ceiling. Though I had no intention of letting things go.
With a swift move, I snatched her back into my arms heading straight to her abdomen, right over her navel, ‘Did he touch you here?’ I was just curious to know what part of her body Brax found most attractive. Call me crazy, but I did look up to him, so I found his interactions with her somewhat arousing. ‘Or here?’ I asked driving my hand beneath her top, palming the size of her breast.
I loved the way her nipples responded to me, hardening under my touch. It was only making me wonder if they had reacted as fast as they do for me when Brax or Ferris touched them. I might have been okay with sharing, but this was still a competition between men and coming on top was still an involuntary priority.
At least she didn’t slap me, so we were still on track for agreat beginning.And it was time for my lips to move on, roaming the line above the hems of her pants. ‘Did he kiss you here?’ I was continuing my game, brushing my tongue in a straight line to her belly button.
I quickly understood that she could barely handle the sensation, trying to draw her knees to her chest and stop me. But I was way more determined than that! ‘How about here?’
Moving to that erogenous zone right beneath her breasts, I extracted a long, ‘Mmmm,’ out of her.
I could go on for hours but the fucking vibration of an incoming text interrupted our moment of intimacy.
Determined to ignore it, I continued my mission while her molten pleas to be set free and reach her phone barely made it to my ears. Her pants needed to go, and I was just attending to that problem when she snatched herself out of my arms and grabbed that damn phone.
