She snorts. “I would have thought the part where you got to come in my ass would be your favorite.”

“That’s a lot of sass for someone who has to submit to me tonight.”

She blushes and holds a finger to her lips. “Hush. I’m going to try to do this in one take.”

I lean against the dresser and observe as she speaks to the camera in a taunting voice. “Did you like that? I hope so because it’s as close to me as you’ll ever get. My husband just filled my ass with his cum. I bet you wish that could be you. But you know you’ll never be good enough.”

Zara’s client loves to be taunted with what he’ll never have. And since she really is sitting there with my cum running out of her ass, I’m thoroughly enjoying watching her work.

Two hours later, she’s cleaned up and in the red dress I told her to wear for the club. We hold hands as we walk out to the car, it’s the same one I fucked her on top of last night, and she blushes when I open her door.

“You make an excellent hood ornament,” I whisper.

She giggles, but she’s quiet again when I slide into the driver’s seat.

“What’s on your mind, Flower?” I ask as we pull out of the driveway.

She bites her lip and reaches for my hand.

“Are you sure you’re OK with what we did today?”

I squeeze her hand reassuringly. “At first, I didn’t think I would be. But that was really fucking hot, Flower. And as long as we’re both clear that you belong to me, I think we can keep having fun with your work. I’ll never be OK with you going back to full-service sex work, but I’m growing into supporting what you do online.”

She grins. “I don’t think I could go back to full-service work even if you didn’t care. You fucked me three times yesterday. I would never have the energy.”

I throw my head back and laugh as I merge onto the freeway to head for the High Card. Life is good despite the dark clouds hanging over me and my brothers at the club. We still don’t know who is after us, but things have been quiet since Chuck Pratchett was found dead. And yes, I killed the bastard. His is one life I’ll never lose sleep over.

My father and uncle have absolved me of Donovan’s killing, since I was able to show them that he was at least tangentially involved in Ernesto Trentini’s murder, and Jamie even sent us a wedding gift when he heard the news.

“Thank you, Luke,” Zara whispers a minute later, interrupting my thoughts.

“You don’t have to thank me for loving and supporting you, Flower. Now put the worry out of your head. There is no jealousy here, only an insane amount of lust. Are you excited about tonight?”

She grins. “So excited. You boys moved fast on my idea for the other shops in the strip mall.”

Tonight, before the club opens, the cigar bar and a boudoir studio are officially opening. There are plans for three more businesses to move into the other spaces within the next six to eight months.

Zara booked the first slot at the boudoir studio, and I’m meeting the other owners at the cigar bar for a meet and greet with some VIP members.

When we pull into the parking lot, Matteo is standing next to Victor looking grim, but I don’t want to sour Zara’s good mood, so I hold up a hand when I step out of the car and before I open her door and Matteo nods, understanding that they need to wait to tell me whatever it is.

When I open her door, I help her out of the car and pull her to me, kissing her soundly. “Go enjoy your shoot, wife.”

She giggles and lays her head against my chest. “Go enjoy a cigar, husband. Just be prepared for me to want to sniff you all night. Aside from your cologne, expensive cigars might be my favorite smell.”

I kiss her forehead and pat her bottom lovingly. “You can sniff me all you want, Flower. As long as you’re on your knees like a good girl. I’ll see you in two hours.”

When she walks away, Matteo comes and drapes an arm around my shoulder. “Married life looks good on you.”

I give him a half smile. “You think you and Skylar will ever go that route?”

Matteo drags a hand through his hair and shrugs. “I don’t know, man. It would be complicated, given her celebrity status. But we’ve talked about it. Or we might skip that part and just jump straight to babies.”

I laugh. “That’s one way to do it. What’s going on?”

He motions for Victor to join us. “Speaking of marriage, Owen is about to cause some serious trouble.”

My stomach sinks and I look around. “Where is he?”

“He’s in London.”

“What the hell is he doing there?”

“Trying to stop a wedding.”
