"Oh, fuck. Oh, fuck. Please just let me leave," I mutter, speeding out of the parking lot.

I follow the path, travelling way too fast, but I finally hit the road and let out a sigh of relief.

Heading back towards town, I check the rear view mirror, thankful to find the road empty.

My phone dings with a reply from Asher but I'm too scared to even look at the phone. My hands are gripping the steering wheel tight, my foot firmly on the gas as I speed down the road.

I promised myself I would keep out of trouble, yet as usual, I couldn't even manage that. The fucking bare minimum.

I'm just starting to feel better when something catches my eye in the mirror. I glance in the rear view again, my heart stopping as I spot three bikes speeding up behind me.

"Oh my fucking God," I breathe out, hitting the gas harder.

The Chevy roars, picking up speed as I pull away. But the bikes are quicker, gaining on me fast.

Just breathe. Just breathe.

I try to calm myself down but I'm slowly freaking out. I'm at least a good ten miles from town, with nothing but trees on either side of the road. In certain parts, I can see a drop behind the road barriers where the hills are steep.

I contemplate taking off to Zayn's cabin if I can lose them, but I'm scared they'll find me alone there. I have no idea if Zayn is there or if he's at the house, so it's not worth risking. Even still, we'd be outnumbered and I don't want to put him in any danger.

The bikes come up behind me, their lights shining into my car, and I watch in horror as one suddenly overtakes me. He pulls in front of my car and I panic as I find myself surrounded.

Reaching for my phone, I open my contacts list. My first instinct is to call Blake, but I curse as I realize I don't have his number saved. I scroll down to Zayn's name, hitting the call button. I shove the phone on speaker mode, listening to the call ring.

"Come on, pick up. Please, please pick up," I beg, letting out a frustrated cry when the voicemail message bank answers. "Fuck's sake, Zayn!"

The bike in front of me starts drifting across the road back and forth, and I freak out as the front of my car nearly touches the back of the bike. I tap the brakes, the car jerking slightly. I look in the mirror, noticing the bikes behind me adjusting. One pulls out onto the other side of the road, driving up beside my car.

I stupidly look over, my eyes widening as I spot Leo. He jabs his finger at me threateningly and I quickly look down at the phone again.

I hit a few keys again, listening to the phone ring, desperately begging for someone to pick up.

"Hello?"

"Asher!" I cry out, relieved.

"Rylee? What's going on? What's all that noise?" he asks, confusion in his voice.

I look over at Leo again, terror chilling me as I try to hold the steering wheel and my phone. "I'm being attacked! I need Blake," I yell.

"What do you mean you're being attacked? What's going on?" he says loudly, his tone sharp and demanding.

My hand shakes as it holds onto the wheel. I rest the phone in my lap, gripping the wheel with both hands so I don't crash. The car is travelling fast, way faster than the speed limit and I'm terrified of wiping myself out or hitting one of the bikes.

"The Norsemen are chasing me. I don't know what to do. What do I do?" I ask.

I hear banging in the background as Asher breathes down the phone. "I'm finding Blake. Hang in there. Where are you?"

"On the back main road, out past Wheels. I'm heading towards town but they have surrounded my car. I'm freaking out."

"Stay calm, Ry. It's going to be okay."

Tears fall down my cheeks, blurring my vision. I let out a sarcastic laugh. "How is it going to be okay? Asher, they are going to hurt me. They want to hurt meagain."

Asher curses, and I hear him yelling to someone in the background, presumably Blake. There's some commotion on the phone, before Blake's voice filters down the phone.

"Rylee. You're on speaker. Where are youexactly?"
