“Was texting you just now,” he said, stepping over a box, and I realized he somehow had access to my dorm. Did housing give him the keys?

I wouldn’t put it past them with the power he had, and suddenly, he was ushering his friends out of the dorm. Large football guys pounded his fists, snapping their fingers at him after.

“Can’t wait to see you back out on the field,” one of them said, and Wolf lifted his chin.

“Maybe next season. Gotta get caught up with school and stuff first,” Wolf stated, and I maneuvered my way over to my stuff. Shoving boxes around, I cleared my space.

“What thehellis this, Wolf?” I shot, and my head snapped up when he came over. Suddenly, we weren’t in a dorm filled with other people. Suddenly, he was just with me, and I didn’t like that shit.

My hands left my computer, backing up, and when Wolf noticed, he placed his large hands on the table. His head cocked. “What? You scared of me now or something, Red?”

I realized now that I hated that stupid nickname of his. I hated everything about him. My jaw moved. “Wasn’t that the point of the other night, Wolf?”

He’d done what he had at the party to show power, point-blank, and though I didn’t want to be scared of him, I was. He could do anything he wanted. Anything he wantedto me.

His lips wet, his expression hard. He pushed off the table. “I never wanted you to be scared of me. I just wanted you to listen.”

And so he taught me a lesson that night, right? “It’s nice to know what happens when you don’t get what you want, and why are you in here? What is all this—”

“I’m moving in.”

My head darted in his direction, my hands curling on my bag. “What?”

“Just what I said. I’m moving in, and if you’d let me explain, I’ll tell you why.”

I didn’t want to knowwhy. I wanted him out of my life.

I wanted to be free of him.

“Fawn.”

He called my name as I headed to my room. I had to pass the empty bedroom on the way, which wasn’t empty. A ton of boxes filled the space, and the nausea hit.

He really is moving in.

Well, he could do that, but I wouldn’t be living here with him. I got into my room and immediately started packing my stuff.

“What are you doing?”

“If you’re moving in here, I’m moving out.” I didn’t know where I’d go. Heath had another roommate, and according to him, things were really working out. We’d had lunch the other day. “Have you lost your fucking mind?”

Was this a new clause to the plan? Him and me together and not just for show. Would he force me to sleep with him? Be with him in all the ways a girlfriend was with a boyfriend?

My hands were shaking at this point, and it took a second for me to realize Wolf had entered the room and closed the door. Of course, when he had, I backed up, and if we were on the first floor, I definitely would have headed out the window.

“Stop freaking out. Fuck,” he gritted and started to approach, but I pressed myself against the wall. His hands lifted. “I’m not going to touch you. Jesus. I’d never do that. Not unless…”

Not unless what? To put his cum on me? I braced my arms, and he pinched the bridge of his nose.

“Would you just sit down? I want to talk to you, and you’re making this shit fucking hard right now.”

What the fuck did I care how hard I was making things for him? I bared teeth. “You made me get on my knees andshow you my titswhile you came all over me, and you want me to listen to you right now?”

He really had lost his mind, his expression blanching like what I said had been a shock, and not what he’d actually done.

His arms dropped to his sides. “I know that. I do.”

“Well, it’s nice that you know.” My body rose and dropped, heavy breaths forcing themselves through my lungs.
