He pushed at my hips, encouraging me to step back, then he slid from the bed and lowered himself to his knees.

“You’re going to hurt yourself.”

“I don’t care.”

I looked down at him, and the rush of seeing him there, ready to do anything to make me feel good sent a rush through me. The better part of me knew I should make him get in a better position for his foot, but this time that better part didn’t win.

He wrapped a hand around the base of my cock and lapped at the tip. I realized I wasn’t sure I’d be able to stay on my feet for this. I took a few steps back so I could lean against the wall, and he followed me, walking on his knees.

“Are you comfortable now?” There was no snark in his tone, no smirk on his face. It was a real question.

“I am.”

“Good.” Ghost drew my cock into his mouth, and I dropped my head back against the wall. His mouth felt incredible. He sucked and licked and drove me insane until I couldn’t hold back.

“I going to come. I…”

He pulled off and gazed up at me. “I’m going to suck every drop of cum out of you.”

I slid my hands into his hair and dragged him toward me. He took my dick all the way down, swallowing around it. Seeing him like that—with my cock stretching his lips, his eyes watery, his face wet with spit—was too much. I pulled back, then pushed in and let go. My cum shot into him again and again.

I felt the muscles of his throat working to swallow it all, but some spilled over and ran down his chin. He was fucking gorgeous with my cum on his face. I couldn’t stop staring at him. When he caught his breath, he smiled at me. “Feel better?”

My breath caught, and all I could do was nod.

Ghost wiped his mouth with his t-shirt, then pulled it over his head and tossed it onto the floor. I leaned against the wall and reached out a hand to help him rise to his feet. I couldn’t decide what I wanted more, to suck him off or to get him back in bed and ride him.

When he stood, he said, “Thank you for letting me give you that.” Then he hobbled back to the bed. “You probably want to take a shower before you head out for the afternoon.”

“Wait. What… what’s happening?”

“I sucked you off because you needed it. Now I’m going to rest like you ordered me too, and you are going to do whatever you need to do, or better yet, go take a ride or see what Jacob has in the kitchen.”

“But I… I thought—”

“That we were taking things slow. We are. That was all about relaxing you, just like the massage.”

“That was not just like the massage.”

“I told you there were no strings.”

He had, but I hadn’t really believed that. “You’re serious?”

“Yes.”

“Why would you—”

“We’re doing this your way.”

I wasn’t sure what my way even was anymore. “But what if I…”

“It’s too fast.” He gestured toward the door to the bathroom. “You can take a shower here if you want.”

I considered that. I sure as hell didn’t want anyone seeing me in the hall. Rhys would know instantly what I’d been up to. “Okay.”

“Good. I’m going to nap now.” He swayed and caught himself on the bed.

“Dammit, Ghost.” I helped him get back into bed. “Once I’m dressed, I’ll make sure Jacob brings you some more water and something to eat.”

He smiled. “Okay.”

By the time I got out of the shower, he was asleep.

I hurried from the room so I wouldn’t be tempted to climb into bed with him.

When I got downstairs, Jacob wasn’t in the kitchen, but Rhys was. He was grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge, but I wasn’t able to sneak back up the stairs before he saw me.

He raised his brows when he caught me backing away. “Come sit down and talk to me.”

“I don’t want to argue.”

“Neither do I, but I do want to know what is going on with you.”

I sighed and sank down into a chair.

“Have you had breakfast?” Rhys asked.

“No.”

He reheated some sausages and gave me those and a cinnamon roll. “That will do for now.”

I smiled. Small breakfasts were never a thing around here, not like when we were kids and were lucky if we could scrounge up something to eat before heading to school.

After I’d had a few bites, Rhys’s expression turned serious again. “So where do things stand with you and Ghost?”

“I told him we’re taking things slow.”

“But you’re in love with him.”

I hated when Rhys was this direct. “Yes, but I need to be sure of him.”

“I think you can be.”

“Whoa, did you hit your head this morning or something?”
