Gideon’s hips slam up until his cock is buried in the back of my throat as hot jets of ropey cum shoot into my mouth. I swallow him down while stroking him a few more times as he finishes.

I long shuddering moment passes before he drags me up to his mouth, where he gives me a filthy kiss, no doubt tasting himself on my lips. Cohen’s magic is still with me, still stroking over my clit and in my pussy, and I can’t tell if he’s trying to make me come again, or just giving a few last lingering touches. Either way, it doesn’t matter because another quieter release rolls though me as Gideon kisses me, leaving me limp and sated.

“Fuck, Ro,” Gideon murmurs, wrapping his arms around me, holding me against his chest. His cock is still out, wet and softening, but he doesn’t seem to care. “I didn’t know I would like that.”

Confused, I bury my face in his neck and ask, “blow jobs? Have you never had one before? Was I your first? Oh, my god, Gideon, are you a virgin?”

He chuckles and slides a hand down the back of my head. “I’ve had blow jobs before, sweetheart. I meant when you stuck your finger in my ass at the end. I’ve heard it can feel amazing. I’ve just never tried it before.”

I blink against his skin. “Uh, Gideon, I didn’t-”

“Shh,” He cuts me off, tipping my head up to kiss me again. “I loved it.”

Realization dawns on what exactly happened and I turn a glare onto the back of Cohen’s head as Gideon releases me to tuck his cock back in his pants.

Cohen shifts and yawns. Making a show of waking up, even though the asshole is already awake. He turns slightly until he can meet my gaze, and I narrow my eyes even more. He gives me a cheeky grin before looking toward the front of the car again.

I am going to yell at him so hard later. I swear to god, he will never do something like that again. Not unless we ask him to.

Hardin and Fielder wake, and Ezra shifts uncomfortably in the front seat, trying to stretch in the tight space. Poor guy, he’s been driving for hours. Maybe I should have him pull over and drive the rest of the way, so he can get a quick nap in, to be ready for research at The Library.

But in the next moment, he takes an exit for Osprey Falls and I realize we’re already here. Gideon’s arm tightens around me, as Hardin asks if we can stop to grab food, only to be denied by Fielder. Who, apparently, is hyper focused on getting to the school, probably to prove Cohen wrong.

“Will the Librarian be at the college?” I ask. “It’s summer break. Shouldn’t she have gone home?”

Cohen looks over his shoulder at me. “She works on campus, so she should still be there, even if school’s out for summer.”

I roll my eyes at him, and he grins back before his eyes get heated, his tongue swiping over his bottom lip. A tendril of magic creeps up my leg, leaving goosebumps in its wake, and I scowl at him, giving a sharp shake of my head.

He sighs and turns back around as Gideon kisses my temple.

Nerves bounce through me as we pull into the nearly empty parking lot. It’s clear there aren’t any students here, just the few faculty and staff members who are still working.

We all climb out, groaning as we stretch after the long car ride, and I make a beeline for Cohen. He holds up his hands when he sees me coming. “Are you insane?” I hiss at him.

He shakes his head slowly. “You were working so hard and getting louder. I just gave him the motivation he needed to finish quickly.”

My mouth drops open. “You can’t do that shit, Cohen. It’s… Just because you didn’t physically touch either of us doesn’t mean it’s not an invasion. We never gave you consent.”

He blinks at me, and then his shoulders droop. “You’re right. You’re right. I thought I was being clever with the whole promising not to touch you thing, using my magic instead, but you’re right. I’m sorry. It won’t happen again.”

He’s so quick to apologize, to see the error of his ways. That it takes the wind out of my anger. “At least not until we ask you for it,” I mutter, wrapping my arms around my stomach.

He grins and reaches out to pull me into his body, wrapping his arms around me in a hug. His lips find my ear and he murmurs, “for the record, if either of you gave even a hint that you didn’t like what I was doing to you, I would have stopped. Immediately. I’m surprised Brightwater liked it as much as he did, but then he’s used to having a stick up his ass, isn’t he?”

A shocked laugh erupts from me, and I push away from him to punch him in the shoulder. “Don’t say shit like that. We’re trying to get them to like you.”

He grins and tucks a strand of hair behind my ear. “You’re trying to get them to like me, wildcard. I only care ifyoulike me.”

“Wanna stop touching my girl, Faulkner?” Hardin practically snarls, striding up to us and pulling me away from Cohen. I give him an apologetic smile as my battle witch tucks me under his arm and guides me toward the main part of campus.

Cohen just shrugs and tucks his hands in his pockets, trailing along behind us until he needs to take the lead to show us where to go. The school reminds me of Seven Stars, but with red brick buildings rather than gray stone, and the roofs don’t look like they’re copper. But the campus is more green than anything else, thick green trees, lots of grassy spots bordered by hedges left to grow unshaped. Ivy crawls over the buildings and it must be intentional because I can’t imagine any gardener being okay with an invasive species taking over the buildings, unless they wanted that look.

We step into an echoing hall and Cohen explains, “she works at the school library. Just through here.”

We head in what I assume is the direction of the library, when Cohen draws up short. Striding down the hall in black high waisted skinny jeans, and a cropped white t-shirt with what must be the Osprey Falls crest on it, is a girl with dark brown hair and green eyes framed by round wireframe glasses. Too big for her face, but I know that’s a style.

She’s pretty. Too pretty.Ugh.
