"Bring her back with you, Ferg. We'd love to have her."
"You mean it?"
"It would be wonderful." Snow Bird kissed his cheek.
"Alright then, I'll ask her to wed, then."
Matt nodded, "God go with you."
They all kissed Snow Bird, and Little Matt, and waved to Matt and Coon.
"You sorry you aren't going with them Coon?" Matt asked him.
Coon stared after them, "Nope, I'd miss this little feller too much." He leaned down and picked up little Matt.
"You know, I've been thinking. Maybe we should build another house, so Margaret and Ferg could live there."
Coon's brow raised, "Say, that's a dandy idea."
Matt laughed. "I think he might be surprised."
"Oh yeah, he wouldn't be thinking about that." Coon answered.
So, Coon and Matt decided to start on another house. Snow Bird and Little Matt helped as much as they could.
The renegades came once that summer, saw the spear, stared at it long and hard, then rode off. Snow Bird had watched from the house, as Coon and Matt were in the barn. She hoped they wouldn’t come out. They hadn't.
But when they came in, they told her about it. She nodded. "I know I watched from the door."
"'I guess it worked."
Snow Bird felt stronger now and her husband never neglected making love any chance he got. But one night after a wonderful orgasm, she clutched him to her. "We will have more babies, I just know it."

"Because we love so much, so passionately, we must."
"I think you are right about that." He chuckled as he caressed her.
"Do you tire of me? "She asked curiously.
"Tire of you? Are you joking?"

"I could never tire of you. You are the woman I love. Why would you ask that?"
"Because when we went to town, I heard some women talking as though their husbands had become uninterested in them. They tired of them, they said." Snow Bird looked worried.
He pulled her chin around with the crook of his finger and stared with such a loving glance, "I will never tire of you."
"No?"
"No, my darling wife. I love you endlessly. I love your beauty, inside and out. We fit each other perfectly. We are as you say, one. That will never change."
"Then why did it happen with them?"
