He kissed her again, "I will want you until I die!" he declared boldly.

"Promise?"

"Promise," he smiled and left.

Hannah thought about his taking, she'd never in her life felt so bold, so daring, and so satisfied. The sensation that rocked her body fed her soul. She was his now, and nothing could change that. The fact that he had boldly claimed her before the ceremony had to mean he wanted her as badly as she wanted him. It bathed her in happiness to be wanted like that. To be loved that much, that they could not stand another moment not being togeth

er. For she had sought love so long, and finally she found it.

But this want only grew, as she had never in her life felt anything like it before. Liam had been so rough, so nasty with her that there was never pleasure between them. She had never wanted Liam though.

She hoped Lone Wolf didn't feel bad for taking her before the wedding. But the tension of wanting him so badly was now an ingrained happiness. She had found love! She wanted to shout it to the world.

At long last she knew what it was to be wanted and loved at the same time. It was exhilarating and powerful. It gave her a sense of confidence she'd never known. It was a heady feeling knowing how much he loved and desired her.

Funny, but now she felt a real part of the tribe. Now she knew she belonged here beyond any doubts. This was her home, her love! And she would fight to keep it so!

Chapter Sixteen

The ceremony of their wedding was planned, in three days they would be married. There were many preparations. Black Feather helped Hannah make a wedding dress, it was white buckskin, with many beautiful beads and fringe. Hannah had never had fancy dresses, but she found the Indian dresses were so beautiful with all the work that went into decorating them. There were quills and beads and fringe all over it. And a badge of courage symbol pained on the sleeves.

She could not believe that in only a few days, she would belong to Lone Wolf. Her heart danced at the thought. She smiled freely now, knowing her life had changed for the better. Happy that she had finally found a home for herself. But happier that she had found Lone Wolf and he had loved her.

She thought about his taking her before the wedding and sighed. It proved his love and faith in her, that she would be his. It was good to love each other, she decided for her heart knew truly she was his now.

"It is good you are so in love with Lone Wolf. I know he loves you too. His vision was wise and sent him in the right direction. You will be very happy together." Black Feather assured her.

Hannah smiled, "I cannot wait, I’m so excited. I've never been this happy Black Feather, it almost scares me."

Black Feather cast her an approving kind of smile, "Your wedding day will be very special. Can you put your white husband away now, and go on as an Arapaho?"

"Yes, yes I can. I never thought it possible before. I never thought I could forget my white life, but Black Feather my white life was a prison for me. I felt little gladness for my life back then. Now, I look forward to each day, to learn, to love, to be. I feel like the Creator has enlightened me. And not only that, but I've gained a people that show me only kindness and love. I cannot be any happier."

"It is good." Black Feather's eyes twinkled with amusement. "I am happy for you too."

"I never dreamed the entire tribe could accept me so easily. I hoped when I came here that I could become a part of you and your lives in some way. Because I knew in the white world, I did not matter. I was nothing. In the white world, I was not important, not even noticed. Here I am part of all of you. I cannot believe the love you show me."

"You are a good woman, Hannah, and very honest, how could we not love you as our own?"

Hannah smiled and hugged her. "Thank you, for everything…"

"We must get this dress done. I will fix your hair the day of your wedding and you will impress Lone Wolf with your beauty."

"You know, despite everything, Luki is much more beautiful than I. I do not know why he refused her, but I am very glad he did. I would die if she even touched him now."

"Luki has no heart for love" Black Feather ruefully puckered her lips in a snarl. "She does not know what love is. Lone Wolf is wise to refuse her. She would bring trouble to our camp." Black Feather assured her.

"I am sorry she lost Lone Wolf, for he is magnificent." Hannah cried with a soft laugh.

"You are so in love…" Black Feather giggled.

"I have known no one more magnificent than Lone Wolf. I am so proud he wants me to be his wife." Hannah's smile lit her face with radiance.

"It is as it should be." Black Feather laughed.

"Was it the same with you when you married Deer Runner?"

"Oh my, yes, I was so thrilled. I had looked upon him forever with love in my eyes and then one day, he looked back and my heart raced so hard I thought it would burst."
