She smiled, "You want to hear something funny?"
"What?" he smiled and ran his hands through her hair now.
"I don't think any white man would ever talk to me like that. I've loved talking to you all this time, but now, your words mean so much to me. I will carry them in my heart always. You make me so much stronger than I've ever been. You give me confidence as a woman, with your words of love."
"It is how it should be. A man should treasure his woman all the days of his life. We must always feed each other with love and confidence." He suddenly laughed and cuddled her into him. "I have not talked this much in my lifetime. You bring out so much in me."
She spread her hands over his chest, kissing him here and there. "I hope it will always be this way between us."
"I promise, it will!" he smiled, bringing her up to kiss her sweet lips.
His hands feasted on her breasts as she trembled with such a love for her man. "I don't know what came over me, I've never felt so free to feel in my life. I never dreamed love could be so fulfilling. Just to touch you as I want, to feel you growing full inside me, and to experience that moment of heaven, it is so much more than I ever dreamed for."
"Never let anyone tell you that you are an old-maid schoolteacher," he chuckled and brought her against him to kiss and hug upon.
"You make me feel so liberated. I don't feel shy or ashamed when you are inside me, I feel wonderful, I love this feeling. I never thought I'd experience true love before."
"Our being one is better than I ever thought it would be. The Creator has blessed our love."
"Yes,
I believe that." She smiled and kissed him now.
"I love you more than my life, Lissa." He said as she lay in his arms.
"I feel the same Moon, the very same. I will love you always, and I will never leave you again, this I promise you." She promised.
"It is good between us."
"Are we going home, today?" she asked as she collapsed and hugged him to her.
"I think we need a few more days alone, what do you think?"
"Oh Moon, yes, I agree. I want you to myself for a while. To be this way, naked in your arms, making love. I want to remember these days and tell our children of them so they can find the same kind of love we have."
"It is special between us." He smiled. "As I knew it would be from the moment, I kissed you. You were tightly bound when I found you. But no more. How could they dare to call you an old-maid when you kiss like an angel?"
"I hunger for you kisses always. No one has ever kissed me with such abandon before. No one ever looked at me like you do. I go hot all over and wet… is that normal."
"Very normal my sweet. Ah… to touch your sweet lips is heaven."
He snuggled down into her again and they laughed.
Chapter Fifteen
For three days they loved each other, only getting out of bed to eat and tend to Cole and their private needs. They made love many times, creating a beautiful memory to look back upon.
He had touched her everywhere, kissed her everywhere, and made love in every fashion.
"Is it because you are Indian that I find your love making so powerful?"
He chuckled, "I do not know. I believe it is the love between us that makes it so powerful. You were a shy young woman when I met you. Now you have finally let go of the tensions, admitted your feelings and given me everything a woman can give. I will love and protect you all my life."
They hadn't just made love though. They talked about their dreams, hopes for tomorrows. They didn't talk about the killings or what might lay ahead. Only of the good things. It was a time to enjoy each other. They cooked together, they read the bible together, as there was an old one on the table near the bed. They played together. But their time alone was short, still it was wonderful, and they left the cabin with smiles on their faces. Even Cole seemed rested and refreshed.
But it was finally time to leave and with a sense of happiness they'd neither known before, they closed the door and with Cole by their side began the trip home.
Lissa thought for sure their lovemaking would slow down then and she couldn't stop looking at him with lustful eyes.
